This review is from: EVERCOOL TTC-NK35TZ/RPW/V5(KU) 95mm PWM Z-AXIS Titan Universal CPU Cooler
Pros: Semi-easy to install, works way better then stock Intel cooler, everything you need and more is included in the box.
Cons: If you choose to use the Intel style clamps (instead of the back-plate) as I did be prepared to get a little frustrated when trying to align and secure them.
Other Thoughts: I never had a problem with the Intel clamps on stock Intel coolers. This thing uses very similar type clamps but because it is so much taller it was hard for me to get my big hands around it to align and secure all four of these clamps. They do seem to be holding it on securely tho. I would have rather used the included back-plate mount but that would have required me to remove the motherboard which was way more work then I was willing to do. It was great they included it tho and maybe down the road I'll use it. As other reviewers have said this cooler is very tall but that wasn't a problem for me. As far as cooling goes this thing is great! My temps went from mid 60s to mid 40s at idle on my i7-3770S (I had a stock Intel cooler). Overall I am very happy with this cooler and would recommend it ...especially if you want the option to not remove your motherboard!READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: SanDisk X300 256 GB Internal Solid State Drive
Pros: Installed easily, fast drive
Cons: No screw included
Other Thoughts: Installed in my Alienware 14 laptop easily. Loaded Windows 10 on it and BAM ...massive speed increase. Can't believe they didn't include a stupid screw with the drive tho. I had to obtain one out of an old PC I had laying around. That's just plain cheap. Add a quarter to the price and include a stupid screw so people don't have to forage one elsewhere (-1 egg for that).READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Microsoft Windows 10 Home - 64-bit
Pros: A modern Microsoft OS that doesn't completely suck.
Cons: Spyware on by default, no easy way to turn off updates.
Other Thoughts: This isn't going to be a complete Windows 10 review. All I'm going to comment on is my experience with it (which has been mostly positive). I was a long time Win 7 fan, and absolutely hated Win 8 with a passion. However, Win 7 is getting very long in the tooth now. Win 10, for me, is an acceptable replacement. You can turn off most of the spyware in the privacy settings, and there is software available to turn off/block the stuff you cant do easily (youtube it). Installation for me was a snap, no driver issues at all. After I turned off the spyware and tweaked a few things I got to kinda like it. The spyware thing is just dirty (shame on you Microsoft!) I'm also not a fan of Microsoft forcing updates on you weather you want them or not. There are ways around both these things tho if you don't like them. Just remember to check your privacy settings at least weekly ...those on/off sliders have a strange tendency to turn back on after updates are installed.READ FULL REVIEW
