This review is from: SAMSUNG mSATA 128GB Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) MZ-MPC1280/0L1
Pros: This was installed as the primary boot drive in a Lenovo W530. Due to the Lenovo design this was an easy install. Pop a few screws out and remove the keyboard. The W530 had an open bay. I had to identify the SSD and add it to the boot order in the bios/uefi as the primary boot drive. After that is worked like a charm, with no issues.
By placing this in an open slot, I now have the OS on a fast SSD drive, while maintaining the secondary larger spinning drive for tons of storage.
Cons: No issues to date
Other Thoughts: I was really please with how easy it was to install in the Lenovo W530.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: It plugs right into the wall outlet so it's simple to charge. It's about the size of a smartphone, so I often see my wife using her phone with the battery pack attached. I suggested she just velcro them together.
Can charge two devices at once, and the cords tuck away quickly and neatly.
Cons: The unit has two sides to it. My wife likes this, but I think I'd prefer one side that lasts twice as long.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Seems fast and lacks bad sectors
Cons: This OCZ SSD disappears from the bios on multiple machines. A potential workaround is to add another device to the SATA bus.
Other Thoughts: Should have paid a few more bucks to get more than the 180 day warranty. Live and learn.READ FULL REVIEW
