AOC q2963Pm Black 29

Pros: It works fine. Easy to set up. Setting menu is easy to navigate and understand. Colors are more vivid and vibrant than 1080 TN panels especially if you're sitting right infront of it and looking at it straight. It's pretty awesome to play MMO games on this monitor. It's as close as you can get to eyefinity/surround setup with just one monitor, to me atleast.

Cons: There's one tiny dead pixel right in the middle. It's only noticeable when the screen is pitch black. I didn't want to bother repacking it and sending it back for exchange. Too much hassle for a monitor this size. Besides there's no certainty that I will not get another with more dead pixels. I really wish they did a better job with quality control. Then again I paid less than $400 compares to other monitors of this caliber which are least $200 more. Also viewing angle is not that great considering this is a IPS monitor. Maybe I haven't calibrated the right way? Not sure. Still a lot better than a TN panel thou.

Other Thoughts: Also there's a little delay turning it on. It doesn't turn on instantly like other monitors I have. It's not a big deal thou. I'm assuming it's normal for a monitor this size? I haven't tested the built in I don't know how bad or good they are. I doubt most people would use them anyway.

Cons: None.

5 out of 5 eggs Installed easy/works just fine! 04/26/2013

This review is from: SanDisk Ultra Plus SDSSDHP-256G-G25 2.5" 256GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)

Pros: Installation was a breeze. It replaced 120Gig SATA III SSD of another brand. Mine didn't come with the latest firmware. I downloaded and burned the latest firmware on a cd, rebooted the pc and updated the firmware in Bios. Updating was easy and painless. It also didn't change any SSD settings when I put it in. So that's a plus. I had replaced SSDs before in my other PCs and there were times when I had to reset the settings...etc. Also it's faster than the one it replaced. So I'm happy!

Cons: Not really a con but I waited so long hoping I would catch a discount and finally I decided to just buy it and not waiting any longer. About 5 days after I bought went on sale (15% off). :/ I truly hate when that happens!!

Other Thoughts: Been using it for about a week or so. Therefore I can't comment on longevity and reliability. Only time will tell. This is the first time I'm using this brand. So hopefully it's as reliable as the other brands I have used.
