This review is from: SEgoN Mini-Ding Series 32GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive Model Black Mini-Ding S-32GB
Pros: This flash drive is tiny. I was expecting small, but I am pleasantly surprised by how little the case protrudes from the USB port. The footprint of the drive fits inside the diameter of a quarter.
Cons: Slow write speeds. I was not expecting super fast speed on a drive so small, but Windows is only writing at 3.2 MB/s on a sustained write. I just finished copying 28.9 GB in 2hrs 50 mins, which is good enough for me as I'll only be filling this once.
Other Thoughts: I plan to use this in the USB port of my new car stereo receiver to play MP3s. I found this to be a great value for the 32GB capacity and physical size.
I found it very hard to pull the drive out of the USB slot or the plastic protector without attaching the included keychain ring, as the exposed plastic is so small and smooth.
This review is from: KINGWIN USI-2535 Hi-Speed USB 2.0 to SATA/IDE Drive Adapter
Pros: Great adapter to use for recovering a drive or turning an extra internal drive into an external.
Cons: The USB cable that came in the box has a bad connector on the mini side. It causes the adapter to not have a good connection. Poor connection could cause this adapter to trash a drive if it disconnects during writes. Other cables work fine.
Other Thoughts: I have used other USB to IDE/SATA adapters and I like this one best. I bought this one to replace the original Kingwin adapter I gave away to a friend accidentally.READ FULL REVIEW
