Pros: - Great Specs
- Cheap Price
Cons: Screen Flickers
Other Thoughts: I've had to send this laptop back to ASUS once, because as noted by other users, the screen flickers. I thought it could be the inverter, because that's what they do when they go bad. But they replaced the screen.
Well, not even a couple months after getting it back it started flickering again. My wife and I are tired of rocking the screen back and forth to make it stop, so an RMA request for repair number 2 is in.
It's just sad that it's the same problem again, only now the caps lock sticks and the spacebar likes to not to work.
I don't know if it's just cheap parts in this thing or what, but what's the use of having a warranty for 3 years and you have to get it serviced every year for the same issue?
This has put a sour spot in my mouth and my wife's. We still like their motherboards, but this laptop......just disappointing.
We don't suggest ASUS laptops to anyone and others have commented of the exact issue we're having with other ASUS laptops. Won't buy anoth
