MSI GeForce GTX 260 DirectX 10 N260GTX-T2D896-OCv2 896MB 448-Bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card

Pros: Fast Card, Well worth the price when I purchased it. Runs everything I threw at it with absolutely no problems on the highest settings.

Cons: The card blows hot air into the case, having 2 of these sitting right next to each other in SLI mode is a cooling nightmare. I have never seen temps lower than 75°C.

A few weeks ago I tried updating the drivers and the system would not update them. Rebooting seemed to help but only 1/2 of the drivers seemed to update. Have other Nvidia cards and the same system build and not having this problem with any of the other cards or systems.

Going to cost me $45+Shipping to get the card fixed, almost want to save my money and just buy another card with a better warranty. It seems though right about the time the warranty would expire.. the card starts taking a nose dive.. why am I not surprised.

Other Thoughts: Depending on what happens with an RMA I might post a better review, but for now there are much smaller and faster and less expensive cards on the market than this beast.

Killer NIC M1 Gaming Network Card – 10/100/1000Mbps PCI Network Adapter -- Less Game Lag, Smoother Gameplay

Pros: The device does exactly what it says its going to do. It bypasses the network traffic and allows your cpu to focus on other tasks at hand. I play a number of different games and I have seen a bit of an increase in FPS and mainly latency has gone down 20-30 at max. Granted this pc that I use it on was built about 3 years ago so its not exactly top of the line but it has worked well for its intended use.

Cons: Price. I bought it while it was on sale for $175 and it is still a bit pricey for what it has done.
LED and Shiny Killer Heat sink are on the wrong side of the card. Unless my pc was upside down, I would never get to see the most spectacular part of this card.
The lack of discription on how the Optimize for Gaming / Applications actually work. I have not seen a difference between application or gaming settings on the card.

Other Thoughts: This card as others have said is quite true. This is the icing on the cake of a very good pc. Better upgrades would be System Memory and Video Cards. This should be the last thing you upgrade in your pc.

5 out of 5 eggs Amazing 12/17/2004

This review is from: Thermaltake CL-C0001 Aluminum Heatsinks only

Pros: None

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Easiest install ive ever had, comparing to PNY , and every other type ive ever installed. These were so easy to install and they are so nice inside of my system , I wish i could post a pic it is amazing. Nothing beats these for spreading heat either. Another winner from Thermaltake.
