FLAMED OUT AFTER ONLY 17 MONTHS!!!
Pros: Bought to complement a set of two Klipsch B-20s (front L&F), four S-10s (front presence and surround), and two C-20s at center along with an older Polk Audio sub, all powered by a Yamaha V667. The Sub-10 replaced the PA Sub and completely rounded out that unique Klipsch sound that many and some hate. Me, I was in Klipsch heaven! Everything was perfectly balanced. So, I decided to upgrade the B-20s for a set of F-20s, hoping for an ever better experience. Wrong! The Sub 10 decided to die two days before the F-20s arrived.
Cons: After only 17 months of very light usage, the Sub -10 went the way of so many other Sub 10s (Google Klipsch Sub 10 problems and you will find a large number owners who have had the same problem). a call to Klipsch tech service suggested replacing the fuse. That didn't work.
Overall Review: Can't believe Klipsch allowed this model to be marketed. It lends some credence to Klipsch critics' complaints about the production quality of its products.
TWO HANDS REQUIRED!
Pros: provides ample HDMI connections for HTC setup, soundfields are distinctly different and easily accessible, overall video and sound quality are good for the price.
Cons: unit comes with a multi-device remote control. however, to control a TV, including a Sony TV, you must depress two buttons simultaneously to activate the desired function. works fine if you have good use of both hands. however, operation is nearly impossible if one or both hands are impaired. very ADA insensitive.
