This review is from: MEElectronics Black 3.5mm Stereo Headset for Cell Phones N8P
Pros: Inexpensive, good basic functionality
Cons: Highs are far too evident, Right side appears to be degrading/declining in volume after only 2 months. Right bud seems like its a bit loose.
Other Thoughts: I bought these after having a set of M9's that went longer than any other set buds that I've had, and which had excellent response over the whole frequency range. MEE seems to get good ratings from reviewers, but this set is just not in the same class as the M9's I've had.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Good performance for 300 bucks on a Black Friday deal. Light. Decent battery life.
Cons: Left mouse button (touch pad button) was originally a little tight...but it loosened over time. The speakers are under powered, and I had a lot of feedback problems with the mic when I would close the lid to sleep the machine.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Polk Audio Atrium 45 White High Performance Outdoor Speaker Pair
Pros: I got 2 pair of these to use as my 7.1 surround system speakers (on sale at the Egg). Considering price per performance I think they're pretty hard to beat. The bracket worked well for mounting them to the ceiling, I didn't have to go searching for mounts.
Cons: Yes, they're a little brighter than you might like for a set of front speakers, but not that bad considering price and size. I just used them as my back 4 surround speakers for a 7.1 system. As all the other reviews say...yeah they're a little bright but the price on sale....wow, and how I use them there's no real downside.
Other Thoughts: I did a side by side comparison against my normal front speakers, a pair of "vintage" Celestion SL-6 's. The Celestion was better, but not by a lot...and they cost a lot more than these when I bought them new in the late 80's.READ FULL REVIEW
