G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Low Voltage Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL9D-8GBXM
  • Owned For: 1 week to 1 month

Pros: It runs quick, no blue screens. I've ran it at 1333 and 1600 no problems. My motherboard has to o.c. to run 1600 but still no probs.

Cons: Be careful with small motherboards and big CPU coolers. Heat spreaders might get in the way.

Other Thoughts: Decent ram, I remember when my dad paid $70 upgrading to 128k of ram. So this felt awesome buying 8gigs for under $50.

5 out of 5 eggs Awesome Motherboard 08/11/2012

This review is from: ASUS M5A88-M AM3+ AMD 880G HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Micro ATX AMD Motherboard

Pros: Great little micro atx motherboard. All the pros are the features. Everything worked perfect right out of the box. Using on-board graphics and sound for now and no problems whatsoever. I was worried because I bought ddr3-1600 and it only supports 1333 not overclocked. It runs my memory no problem at 1600. If you're not a serious gamer and you need a great motherboard for your AMD build go for it. All the software lets you monitor your system, keep in control of your cpu fan and watch temps. Plus a program that automatically and safely overclocks your system according to your setup. You can even program a key to kick it into a turbo mode when you need the extra power.

Cons: It's not a full atx, I understand this when I bought it. I doubt I will need the full size motherboard. It still makes ya kinda wish you had those extra slots just in-case. One of the motherboard heat sinks is kind of in the way if you have a big cpu cooler.
