This review is from: Patriot Xporter XT Rage 64GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive Model PEF64GRUSB
Pros: This flash drive is very small, about the size of a half-dollar.
It is as fast as excepted.
Cons: The only problem I have with this flash drive is that the slider will slide open (exposing the usb connector) while bouncing around in my pocket, with other items.
I purchased this despite this known issue. My previous rubber-coated (with cap) X-Porter patriot flash drive had a similar issue with its detachable cap that would also sometimes come off while in the pocket.
Despite that my old flash drive has always worked, so I expect this drive to have the reliability.
Other Thoughts: I bought this on sale with rebate, which made this extremely affordable for its size. I've owned many Patriot products over the years, PC Memory and other Flash Drives, and have been very pleased with their products.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: The Fan and Connection options.
I like the fact that there's a fan in there to help in the cooling of the hard drive.
More importantly, this has both USB and eSATA connection options.
Cons: None so far.
Other Thoughts: Been running an SATA HDD in this enclosure for about 2 months 24-7. I don't intend to use a drive for this long normally, mostly for connecting external drive when doing Network-Wide backups.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Bought this specifically to use for when a PC I'm working on crashes and I need to pull data off of the HD.
It has been operating for weeks with no problems. I don't intend to run a HDD long-term in here, but it has worked with no problems so far. I am re-purposing old HDDs as PC Backup storage.
USB & eSata were great selling points.
Cons: None so far.
Other Thoughts: Will be buying an IDE one next so I can work with IDE Drives also.READ FULL REVIEW
