Pros: Very Overclockable.
Very noticeable upgrade over 4850
3d - Capable.
Cons: Price going down fast.
6850 may be better option.
Other Thoughts: I run this card at either 850 / 1700 or 833 / 1666 depending on room temperature.
It has allowed me to put SC2 on ultra (Core2Duo e7200 @ 3.5ghz)
Needs a good cpu. Mine , a dual core with 3mb l2 cache is significantly holding it back.
FPS in multithreaded games like Black Ops would DOUBLE with a quad core. Go with I5-960, I7-920-60 or just wait for Sandy Bridge!
Pros: Very nice LED back-lit screen
Very fast for what I use it for :
Google Chrome Internet
Exam 4 Test Taking ( Law School )
Cons: You cannot play anything other than 2 dimensional games like bejeweled on a netbook.
Other Thoughts: I was very hesitant to buy a netbook because I heavily rely on laptops for note-taking and test-taking in law school. But I'm so glad that I bought it. It weighs a fraction of what my old laptop costs and can slip into the front section of my backpack.
It is easy to type on, and I've taken some finals on it with no problems whatsoever. The network connection works fantastic, and the laptop is good looking overall.
Netbooks ARE laptop replacements contrary to all the B.S. said by companies trying to sell higher-profit margin items and consumers who over spent. They're not as suitable for HEAVY computer usage such as gaming or compiling . They don't have a DVD drive or burner for making movies. If you want a gaming computer or movie computer buy a desktop.
Laptops aren't that great for those uses anyway.
