This review is from: Klipsch Synergy B-10 Bookshelf Speakers Pair
Pros: I was looking for something with more hi-fi sound for my office than my 2.1 computer speakers (which were already pretty good). These B-10s definitely hit the mark. Acoustic guitar, piano and vocals sound like they're right there in front of me. It's awesome.
Cons: The bass in these isn't huge, but it's there. If you want to shake the walls you shouldn't be looking at compact bookshelf speakers.
These speakers have no audiophile cred on the Internet. Even the Klipsch website shows them as discontinued. Apparently they're still making them under the radar as the box for mine had a very recent manufacture date. So you have to give up any bragging rights and let the sound speak for itself.
Other Thoughts: I have these powered by an SMSL SA-36A amp. Sounds much better than a pair of $100 speakers and a $52 amp have a right to. If I had it to do over again I would have sprung the $16 extra for the higher powered SMSL SA-50 as the B-10s can take everything my little amp can give them. That said, this system can crank it in my office much louder than I normally want and the quality is there all the way to maximum.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Coboc Light-black 6 ft. MFi Certified black Apple 8-pin Lightning Connector to USB Cable for Apple iPhone5, iPad4, iPad Mini, iPod Touch 5th Gen, iPod Nano 7th Gen - Charge and Sync Cable
Pros: Functions just like the OEM cable.
Cons: The outer insulation separated from the strain relief near the lightning connector after a few weeks of moderate use. The wires inside are exposed now, so I don't expect it to last much longer.
Other Thoughts: I'm about as easy on my equipment as anybody, so it's pretty rare that things fall apart on me. This wasn't even my primary cable - I use it less than 50% of the time.
This looks like a poor design. The strain relief was made with almost no overlap over the outer insulation, so this separation was inevitable.
Pros: Works fine with Linux Mint, kernel 3.5.0-17-generic
Faster than USB 2.0
Price was right
Other Thoughts: lshw reports this as a Renesas Technology USB controller.
Works with Rosewill RDCR-11003 card reader.
Mobo is MSI 760GM-P34 (FX).
