EVGA Z97 Stinger Wi-Fi LGA 1150 Intel Z97 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Mini ITX Intel Motherboard
EVGA Z97 Stinger Wi-Fi LGA 1150 Intel Z97 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Mini ITX Intel Motherboard

Pros: -Outstanding design. -Internal I/O cover is a a beautiful little adaptation. (but it did cause problems explained in CONS) -Plenty USB ports for a Mini-ITX -Build quality is very impressive. Heaviest Mini-ITX I've held in my hands.

Cons: -UEFI is very barebones compared to what I was used to (MSI Mpower) but everything is supposed to be simplified.. though I have not really messed with OCing with it yet. - antenna cables are maybe 4 inches long... ridiculously short.. really unnecessary... and the antenna snaps are the smallest I've ever dealt with.. my fingers still hurt from trying to clip them in. -I had an incredibly hard time installing the wireless antenna cables to the wireless card and when they did clip in they would pop out once you went to screw the antenna on.. because screwing the antenna in unscrews the antenna connectors in the I/O shield and twists the cables to the point that they pop off.. then the internal I/O cover lays directly on the antenna cables and tightens them up to the point of almost pulling them out itself... and once the internal I/O cover is installed there is no way to try and tighten up the antennas attached to the I/O shield... Incredibly annoying... maybe I'm doing something wrong... I'm not gonna knock an egg off for my own stupidity.. but this could really be better.... -Internal I/O cover installs with motherboard screws... one of these screws is very hard to get in without a magnetic driver... Could have been a better system for this.. clips.. or something.. anything..

Overall Review: If I had it to do over I would get the Core 3D edition without the Wi-Fi module.... and since I'm speaking about the Core 3D module I'd like to talk about the bad reviews it has seeing as this is basically the same MOBO. -Shane Q has problems that could very well be a hardware failure.. though why would he not just RMA it immediately? Though there are a number of reasons why his machine is running terribly and almost 99% of them are user error. -Christopher P blaming EVGA for HIS bending of the CPU pins is way out of line. That was clearly user error.. the pins didn't arrive bent nor did the EVGA fairy come and bend them....nothing else to say about that. Don't blame EVGA cause you can't simply set a cpu into a ZIF socket. -Gregory W says he has mous/keyboard issues and sound problems and has this to say.. "I called evga and the agent sounded a bit confused and said I should install the newest drivers....lol..guess he didn't know this board is new." If you don't understand why this is not a legitimate bad review.. you have absolutely no business inside of a computer case. This review should literally be taken down I'm not convinced it's not a trolling. -Four b. I don't even know whats wrong.. a problem with the motherboard itself is never even stated within the review only problems with RAM and this.. "I have 2 ssds i tried to install, never went past 88% .Usually that would mean a memory issue" Wat?

Apotop 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 2133 (PC3 17000) Desktop Memory Model U3A4Gx2-21C9GC

Pros: -They POST! -They run at 2133! -Price! -Low CAS latency!

Cons: -Random memory read errors! -System hangs intermittently! (Not CPU, Doesn't happen with other RAM Modules I have tried)

Overall Review: Price is here, Performance is here somewhere, Complication also came! Welcome to the party!

Great Quality - a Little tight.

COUGAR QBX Black Steel Mini-ITX Ultra-Compact Pro Gaming Case
COUGAR QBX Black Steel Mini-ITX Ultra-Compact Pro Gaming Case

Pros: - Product quality is far better than I had expected. - Interesting design. - Cable management generally not available in such a small form factor chassis.

Cons: - the limit of 140mm PSUs is really problematic. Most PSUs are generally 150mm these days. So why not just use SFF or SFX PSUs if you are going to choose to make the chassis only compatible with the smallest -Read: Hardest to find- ATX PSUs? - Wish there was a full size (120mm) fan in the front of the chassis rather than a 90mm.

Surprisingly nice.

ASRock FM2A88X-ITX+ FM2+ / FM2 AMD A88X (Bolton D4) SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 HDMI Mini ITX AMD Motherboard

Pros: -It works! -Accommodable features.

Cons: -Not the fanciest design, cheap looking. -Not a fan of the layout really. Unfortunately only MITX FM2+ board that had the socket positioned correctly for my build.

Overall Review: I was somewhat unhappy about having to purchase ASrock as I had always assumed them to be a cheap manufacturer. Though the looks are cheap, the performance and quality seem to be fine. Great for budget building!

SSD failure within 2 years.

Microsoft Surface Pro Windows 8 Pro 128GB Tablet
Microsoft Surface Pro Windows 8 Pro 128GB Tablet

Pros: -Nice looking design.

Cons: -Gets incredibly hot on the backside. not good for lapping. -windows OS does not work great on this small of a screen. -digitizer has tons of paralax and a number of other problems. -SSD failure within 2 years (outside of warranty) and microsoft is giving my the privilege of buying another one for $480 dollars. Also instructed me to "rip that sucker open" and replace the SSD myself.

Overall Review: The support options that were given are unfair in my opinion. With Its price tag being $1000 when new its honestly insulting to have it fail within 2 years and have no recourse but to pay more money for another REFURBISHED model... no option to move up to a newer model "Hey, Were gonna screw you.. but at least you'll have a shiny new thing." nope.. just "well.. here you can buy someone elses piece of garbage that failed" I'll never puirchase another piece of microsoft hardware.

Awful product. Terrible support. Blamed these issues on everything else but their own poor quality product.

Huion GT-220 V2 Tablet Monitor 21.5 Inch Interactive Pen Monitor Pen Display, IPS Panel, HD Resolution(1920x1080) with Screen Protector and Glove (Silver)

Pros: none now.

Cons: everything you could possibly think of. Poor design, poor quality, poor product, poor customer support, poor customer relations, dodgy practices. Go find some traveling pedlar in a dark alleyway and you'd probably get a better quality product and support.

Overall Review: This is absolutely the worst product I have owned with the absolute worst support. I was strung along via e-mail by HUION support (just long enough to be over the 30 day return policy) at which every problem I had was explained to either be "normal phenomenon" or presented as if it was something I had done wrong or something wrong with my personal hardware/software. At no point would they admit to the problems being a possibility of a malfunctioning product. Now that the display is completely failing within a year of INCREDIBLY moderate use (I gave up using it at a digitized monitor and only used it as a display for 80% of the time I have owned it) they want me to pay to have it sent back to china for an exchange, however much that will cost. Design flaws: -Poorly placed on off switch on the bottom of the display. Have to lift up display to turn on or off. -Ports inconveniently placed as to ensure the cables constantly bending and pulling/wrenching on the cables/ports. I feel as if I used this product a lot for an extended period that I'm gonna snap an HDMI connector either on the cable or off the interior board. Awful awful design/placement. -Pen is too light. -Screen feels too slick. (this is common however. Just my personal gripe with all digitized monitors) Now for the real problems.... Technical Problems to date: -I got the product missing a screw on the back stand. -Drivers are awful in win 8.1. Barely work in most programs *though, in some cases this is indeed the programs problem* -The USB port on the back is so loose that the cable literally just slips out of it. -WIthin the first few uses the screen got so hot it MELTED THE ADHESIVE underneath the top layer of plastic and actually ran out from under the screen. -The pen was always a problem. It barely worked when it did work (explain later). Incredible jump and drops in pressure registration, no way to fix how far away from the tip of the pen the cursor is, certain parts of the screen wouldn't register the pressure properly. -The pen stopped holding a charge at all. Now it will stay charged for maybe 30-40 mins tops and its dead. -Now the screen is having some sort of weird issue where if the screen is displaying a darker image the whole screen becomes incredibly dark. and if it is primarily white everything becomes very washed out. This is not adaptive brightness or a power setting that I have found. Nothing in windows is turned on.. nothing in the video card settings and nothing in the OSD settings of the monitor. Its sad that I cant even use this as a normal monitor at this point. absolutely ridiculous. I wouldn't recommend this product or any product from this company. Their customer support have made a point to make me feel to blame for their poor quality product. Never once have they eluded to considering that their product could be malfunctioning or failing and have only issued me an offer of replacement after I have basically BEGGED for it. Now they wou

acceptable if you absolutely cannot afford a cintiq

I enjoy my GT-220. I like the option it presents to me as a digital artist. Though the price tag left me expecting better. Pros: It's fancy pants. Nice screen. Accurate colors, great display. Relatively mobile (Hint: Bundle-zip ties, longer Usb) It works mostly Responsive customer service if you like talking to brick walls. Nice but unhelpful. Cons: Poor sensitivity. large jump from 5-8 to 15-20 pixel width. Adjust away within the programs & drivers to get no results! Cheaply made. seems sturdy enough at first. The usb port is very loose, cable falls out easily. Screen gets hot (expected) and the glue under screen runs out (Not Expected) Poor button placement Mostly useless customer service ("my pen is broke and theres glue coming from under my screen" "Oh! here is the newest driver download!") Pen is unresponsive regularly. Nicer pens incompatible Dust under screen. Pen wobbles in certain places (repeatedly/dead digitized zones). Suggestion: DIY cintiq. tabletmod dot com

came in exactly 15 days, then didn't work.

I received this item on precisely the 15th day after I ordered it. I ordered a controller from another company in China and it came in 5 days. Meh. But once it arrived, I forgot all about how I felt the shipping was ridiculously slow. Now, I've attempted to use it and I find that it does not operate. Unfortunate, I WAS really excited. :(
