This review is from: Samsung 840 EVO MZ-7TE1T0BW 2.5" MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)
Pros: Super fast and super spacey, NewEgg being cheapest option out there. Improved my workflows drastically. Used to wait on an orchestra library template to load for near 10 minutes... Now it's just under a minute and overall CPU performance improved as well - happy!
Oh, and its thinner than I expected and than most SSDs.
Cons: Not a does not hold 4 or 6 TB :(READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Well made and easy to install, exactly what I needed to fit 2 SSDs into a limited space, glad I actually found this unit, was going to go with a single slot which couldn't fit anywhere in my case. Tool-less slots are a plus too.
Cons: Wont hold SSD's firmly in place, if inserting a thin drive its all over the place but wasn't built for that. If there were rubber pads on sides that would've helped to hold units in place more sturdy.
Other Thoughts: Remember that this was designed to fit 2 SSD's in a 3.5" space so expect power/SATA connectors to be a tight fit, though in my case there were no issues at all.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Phiaton Black PS 210 BTNC Bluetooth 3.0 Active Noise Cancelling Earphones
Pros: Microphone picks up speech really well. I'm being told by people on the other line background noise is kept to minimum even in very noise-heavy environments. Music sounds rich, full and loud, if necessary.
Cons: Unless I got a faulty unit, Noise Cancellation is terrible, it reduces low frequencies by maybe about 5-8 dB tops, in what seems like a shape of low-shelf band. For comparison, I've used many earphones without NC that are fitted better to the ear that isolate outside noise many times more effective than this unit with NC.
Audible hissing/crackling noise is present when using NC and on occasion when its off.
Voice notifications are very poorly recorded and sound cheap.
Not the perfect ear fit (even with all options) due to it's design and lower overall build quality compared to many BT earphones half the price of this that I compared side by side.
Other Thoughts: Microphone sound intelligibility and audibility is what impressed me as well as overall media sound quality.
For the money it should have been a better quality built, sturdier design and ear fit, clearly effective and demonstrable NC function. Feels like a prototype test unit which inclines me to thing Noise Canceling function is not working properly on unit I received.
Sorry to say but as is I wouldn't recommend this to a friend since there are cheaper/sturdier models out there that surpass this unit.
