Thermaltake Core P5 ATX Open Frame Panoramic Viewing Tt LCS Certified Gaming Computer Case CA-1E7-00M1WN-00
Thermaltake Core P5 ATX Open Frame Panoramic Viewing Tt LCS Certified Gaming Computer Case CA-1E7-00M1WN-00

Pros: - Beautiful - Great for custom water loops - Vertical, horizontal, or wall mounted - Customizable

Cons: - The PCI extender cable for vertical GPU mounting is garbage. - NO 3.5" front bays. That means no DVD drives, no front bay reservoirs. - Not good for people who need to change their drives or cable management often. - Actually, it's generally not good for anyone who needs to make changes to their hardware frequently. - The hard drive bracket in the back needs to be removed in order to push cables, but it feels like it's not designed to do so. - The bolts holding in the feet could have been designed better.

Overall Review: Great case if you only need to set up your PC once.

Set it and forget it.

Too much hassle for the features

ASUS ROG MAXIMUS VIII RANGER LGA 1151 Intel Z170 HDMI USB 3.1 ATX Intel Motherboard
ASUS ROG MAXIMUS VIII RANGER LGA 1151 Intel Z170 HDMI USB 3.1 ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: - Gives you more from your motherboard

Cons: - Had lots of issues with this motherboard not booting or not shutting down.

Most bang for your buck, hands down.

Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo CPU Cooler, 4 CDC Heatpipes, 120mm PWM Fan, Aluminum Fins for AMD Ryzen/Intel LGA1200/1151

Pros: - Great price - Great Performance - Meets most overclocker's needs - Very quiet - Cooler block is raised to clear most RAM modules

Cons: - Big. Not for cute little mini-itx cases. - RAM modules with large heat-spreaders can bump into this.

DO NOT BUY

Corsair Gaming K70 RGB Mechanical Gaming Keyboard - Cherry MX Red Switches
Corsair Gaming K70 RGB Mechanical Gaming Keyboard - Cherry MX Red Switches

Pros: Great hardware. Beautiful.

Cons: The drivers and software literally do not work, and will also break other drivers and software on your PC. I've been trying to set this up since I bought it five hours ago. The CUE software can only intermittently detect the keyboard, it cannot update the keyboard firmware, the keyboard stops being detected when the computer sleeps, the lights typically freeze if they ever work at all, installing some light presets causes all light presets to stop working unless the CUE window is selected, the Keyboard shows up as SIX SEPERATE HID DEVICES in the device manager. It also caused all of my Logitech G-Series devices to stop working, including sound from my headset. Steam will also frequently freeze if the CUE window is open for some reason. On top of that, even when the software is working perfectly it is nightmarishly un-intuitive and user unfriendly. Apparently the problems I am expriencing are quite common and nobody has any effective solutions outside of "Reinstall your Operating system"

Overall Review: Trashiest drivers/software i have ever seen. Could have written better software myself.

Surprising

3Dconnexion MP1100BLU Blue 3 Buttons 1 x Wheel USB Wired Optical Uni Retractable Optical Mouse
3Dconnexion MP1100BLU Blue 3 Buttons 1 x Wheel USB Wired Optical Uni Retractable Optical Mouse

Pros: Durable, responsive, lightweight

Cons: The retractable cord may not go in all the way after a lot of use

Overall Review: I'm very sad to see these discontinued. Best little pocket mouse I've ever owned. It's seen more computers than I can count and keeps on ticking. Currently my permanent desktop mouse.

Good price

Thermaltake VL84301W2Z V3 Black Edition with 430W Power Supply ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
Thermaltake VL84301W2Z V3 Black Edition with 430W Power Supply ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: Easy to use Finished on the inside (big plus. no bare metal) Plenty of room Overall Sexiness Factor Includes power supply

Cons: Cable management is not as good as you would see on a $100+ case Included PSU not sufficient for gamers Not enough included quick releases Bay panel snaps are known to bend and break

Overall Review: I have this case on my main PC and love it. Compared to all cases of it's class on the planet it would only deserve 3 eggs, but the price-per-feature is outstanding, even if you pay full price for it and don't catch it on sale (currently only $50!).
