Nippon Labs SATA-1RR Premium 1M (3.28 ft.) SATA Cable with 2 Right Angle Connectors for SATA I and SATA II Hard Drive
Nippon Labs SATA-1RR Premium 1M (3.28 ft.) SATA Cable with 2 Right Angle Connectors for SATA I and SATA II Hard Drive

Pros: Nice long cable, nice and sturdy quality.

Cons: None.

Overall Review: After purchasing I realized you can get one for cheaper from other websites, but oh well. Buying this off Newegg is cheaper than from a brick and mortar shop, where they'll charge you $20 for a 2ft.

Most Critical Review

Do not buy this!

Intec VGA HD Cable for XBOX 360
Intec VGA HD Cable for XBOX 360

Pros: It looked semi-decent on an 8-year old CRT monitor that was blurry and had poor contrast (making the bad color and ghosting not as noticeable), definitely better than the composite cable at 480i.

Cons: After hooking it up to a brand new 19" wide screen monitor, the ghosting was very noticeable, especially within the dashboard menus.

Overall Review: I'm ordering the official MS VGA cord and will review/compare it when it arrives.

Huge but cool

Zalman CNPS14X Pure Aluminum High Performance 140mm Fan Ultra Quiet Interactive Heatpipe Transfer Design CPU Cooler
Zalman CNPS14X Pure Aluminum High Performance 140mm Fan Ultra Quiet Interactive Heatpipe Transfer Design CPU Cooler

Pros: This is a well built cooler with a very quite fan. I installed this on an i5 2500K with and MSI P67-G43 motherboard with all RAM slots filled with G. Skill Ripjaw X modules with the tall spreaders and even though the fins hang over the first two slots they clear the RAM coolers by a few millimeters. It's a tight fit but it works. I have a Cooler Master HAF 912 case and it fits just fine with still bit a room for excellent air flow.

Cons: Installation is fairly simple, but getting the screws to thread into the backplate bolts is a bit of a hassle. The included spanner tool works just fine but requires more effort and time than using an ordinary screw driver, but unfortunately due to the size of the cooler it is required to use the included spanner tool. This will definitely require you to remove the motherboard from your case for installation. Any motherboard headers near or under the cooler will require special tactics to plug, such as case fan headers and the CPU power port.

Overall Review: I knew the installation would be tricky going into it, so I wasn't caught off guard at all. If you are patient and willing to take the time to install this cooler then I would highly recommend it. Smaller coolers such as the Cooler Master Hyper 212 are definitely easier to install. With a mail in rebate this is an great deal for $29.99 after MIR, but at full price I might have looked elsewhere.

Flippin' Awesome!

Mushkin Enhanced Chronos 2.5" 120GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) MKNSSDCR120GB
Mushkin Enhanced Chronos 2.5" 120GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) MKNSSDCR120GB

Pros: Small, lightweight, easy to install. According to ATTO benchmarks I get about 550MB/s read and 530MB/s write. WEI score 7.9. Came with the latest firmware installed.

Cons: Despite it's high speed, this SSD does use asynchronous memory.

Overall Review: Make sure your running the latest BIOS/UEFI revision on your mother, set AHCI to on in your BIOS, and have the latest drivers installed for your system to see the full potential of this drive. Bought this drive when it was on sale for 145, noticed it dropped down to 130 and Newegg credited me the difference since it hadnt't arrived yet. Awesome service as always.

Cooler Master MegaFlow 200 - Sleeve Bearing 200mm Blue LED Silent Fan for Computer Cases
Cooler Master MegaFlow 200 - Sleeve Bearing 200mm Blue LED Silent Fan for Computer Cases

Pros: Awesome LED lighting, silent, and excellent cooling capabilities.

Cons: None that I can think of.

Overall Review: Installed easily into the front of my Cooler Master HAF 912, going to order another one for the top vent when Newegg replenishes their stock. Great price with the current sale.

Cooler Master Sleeve Bearing 140mm Silent Fan for Computer Cases and Radiators
Cooler Master Sleeve Bearing 140mm Silent Fan for Computer Cases and Radiators

Pros: Quiet, excellent airflow. Remember folks, this is a relatively low RPM fan so while it doesn't feel like it might be pushing a lot of air, the CFM is pretty decent due to the larger fan size. It's still strong enough to hold a piece of paper against a thick foam air filter, so I am more than satisfied. Idle temps 8c degrees cooler than before, and 10c cooler while playing BF3.

Cons: The holes on the fan where you screw into aren't pre-drilled, and the screws supplied have a special groove on them to initiate and set the thread. It's easy to pre-screw the fan before installing it onto your case, as it does take quite a bit a force to twist the screws in (Dang carpel-tunnel syndrome)

Overall Review: Got it for cheap with the 7.99 price. Excellent Newegg service as always!

Bad Customer Service.

I ordered an item on Friday night, tried cancelling via the website on Saturday, realized this wasn't possible so I called and left a message on Sunday. When I called at 9 AM PST (their supposed business hours) Monday morning no one answered. I called again at 10 AM still no answer. By the time I got through to them they were very rude and told me my package had already shipped. I guess they don't check their messages? She told me to put Return to Sender on the package and mail it back out. It's been over a week now since I have done that and still no word from them or a refund. Unsatisfactory customer service, buy your products elsewhere.
