SilverStone Sugo Series SG05B-USB3.0 Black SECC / Plastic Mini-ITX Desktop Computer Case SFX 300W 80Plus Power Supply with 2 x USB3.0 ports (Black)
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: 1 week to 1 month

Pros: Well designed - good concept - good airflow - room for decent PCIE video card in an ITX box although 300w PSU might limit choices - esthetics good

Cons: slimline drive cage tolerance very poor - fastening drive to cage rendered DVD tray inoperable due to misalignment of stamped steel screw flanges. Design of cage required long screw drivers usually not available in phillips 0 size - driver extensions do not work because of clearances

Patriot Gamer 2 Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model PGD38G1600ELK
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: 1 week to 1 month

Pros: Price, I suppose, although I'm unsure what the correct price point for non-working ram might be.

Cons: Failed after installing in new GigaByte GA-970A-DS3 MOBO - produced a wide variety of BSOD including 0x1E, 0x7E,0x19,0x3B. Failed the memory diagnostic test. This memory was well within the limits of the MOBO - substituted some similar Corsair ValueSelect 2x4GB ram and system ran just fine

Other Thoughts: Returned for replacement

D-Link KVM-221 2-Port USB KVM Switch with Audio Support
  • Owned For: 1 month to 1 year

1 out of 5 eggs Fundamentally Flawed 10/19/2010

This review is from: D-Link KVM-221 2-Port USB KVM Switch with Audio Support

Pros: None

Cons: Doesn't work with most wireless keyboards and mice - tried just about every combination of USB wired mouse and keyboard - found none that would work reliably - get missed clicks and repeating characters and dropped characters - video seems ok most of the time

Other Thoughts: I am rather surprised that D-Link unleashed this particular design on the market - it should never have been manufactured at all - bad design - bad management - bad quality control - all contributed to make this the wosrt KVM that I've ever worked with
