The best so far

Mee audio M6-CL 3.5mm Connector Canal Headphone
Mee audio M6-CL 3.5mm Connector Canal Headphone

Pros: These are awesome, they have two style of plugs. A shooter style ear plug and a regular ear bud plug. Great versatility. Great sound and great noise reduction. Very limited wind noise while riding a bike.

Cons: Does not come with a braided cord as what you would think. The cord is braided with a plastic coating. I originally bought this thinking it was a braided cord, since i like to tuck the cord under my shirt while bike riding. If you do this, you know that braided cords dont stick to your skin. This one looks braided, but it has a clear plastic coat on it. So it will stick to your skin. It's not as bad as some of my other ear buds i have used.

Overall Review: I have gone through dozens of ear buds, as so far these are my second best ones. They stay in my ears most of the time and have great sound. Once i start sweating alot, they start to fall out, but i can usually get about a hour bike ride prior to them starting to slide out. i just pull over, wipe them with my shirt and continue on.

great eat peices

Polk Audio UltraFit 1000 In-Ear Sports Headphones with iPod/iPhone Control and Mic (Black/Red)
Polk Audio UltraFit 1000 In-Ear Sports Headphones with iPod/iPhone Control and Mic (Black/Red)

Pros: They for good, sound good and feels very well built. So far a month into using them down here in South mississippi where I sweat like crazy, they don't fall out of don't feel as they are going to fall out. Great product

Cons: I'm giving them 4 eggs because of the cord. You have a choice between 1ft and 5ft. I wear my mp3 player on my hip, the 1ft cord is to short and the 5ft cord is way too long. Seriously 5ft cord? I should be 3ft. So I had to buy a 3ft cord.

Overall Review: Like another review said, they feel like they are not fully in your ear, but it is something you just need to get use to. The music is crystal clear and it doesn't come lose. Just that feeling at first, but I'm use to it now.

Make sure you have a extiguisher ready

Multi-Function LCD Fan Controller Panel w/ Card Reader & USB 3.0 Hub
Multi-Function LCD Fan Controller Panel w/ Card Reader & USB 3.0 Hub

Pros: Great concept, I originally had two bays occupied to do both of what this can do. I had a Fan controller and a milti-card reader. I purchased this because my card reader failed and i figured i can kill two birds with one stone. If you dont use one of the functions, you can remove two screws and get to the insides where you can remove cables you dont use. I didnt need the Sata or USB 3.0, so was able to remove them and not have dead end cables cluttering up my CPU.

Cons: I wired everything up as per the instructions. When i power my CPU up, i saw smoke and noticed a burnt rubber smell. When i secured my CPU i saw the power wire of this unit melted. I unloaded all the connections (USB, Sata, Fans etc...everything but power) and still the unit was getting hot and melting the coating of the power cable.

Overall Review: I made the mistake of dressing up everything on the computer prior to plugging in and testing the componet first. As an ET, i should have known better, just had to cut all the zip ties and unwire everything to remove this for RMA. I am getting a replacement because I like the concept of this thing and hope i got a lemon. *Make sure your MoBo has a USB 3.0 plug in. My MoBo was purchased just as USB 3.0 was starting to be popular and mine only has built in USB 3.0. So I was not able to take advantage of this units USB connectors. The Temp probs are only external connections. You cannot plug into the MoBo, so it is wrong for the company to label this CPU/System. It really is wherever you decide to tape the prob to.

Take all your bases

Lenovo IdeaPad - 15.6" Dual NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M SLI - Intel Core i5-3230M - 6GB Memory - - Windows 8 - Gaming Laptop - (Y500 (59359560) )
Lenovo IdeaPad - 15.6" Dual NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M SLI - Intel Core i5-3230M - 6GB Memory - - Windows 8 - Gaming Laptop - (Y500 (59359560) )

Pros: everything everyone else has said about this laptop is true. Love this thing, i has handled the below list of games at high/ultra high settings: GW2, METRO 2033, The Witcher 1&2, Dead Island, Crysis 2. Win-8 is not bad. If you do your research, you can default to a classic Win-7 look. There are 1000's of tutorials on you tube.

Cons: The mouse pad sucks! The mouse pad sucks! This had to be said twice to emphasis the suckyness of the mouse pad. (gaming I use as mouse {DUH}, but I also use this as a laptop, in my lap, topping with it) It does not have webpage scroll option (where you drag you finger on the edge of the mouse pad to scroll up and down on web pages) The left and right mouse button area is used as part of the mousepad. So if you are trying to click on stuff, the pointer moves. I have all my settings on small to fit more stuff on the screen, so this is a problem when my [X] box is small and the pointer moves away from it when i try to click. Oh My Stars... the fingerprints - this is tests my patients to the max with fingerprints!!! I might just spray paint the lid of this thing to keep me sane.

Overall Review: i have yet to need a CD drive, i use origin and steam for my games, and most everything you can download online now. I predict in 2-3 years, laptops will do away with the CD Drive. If you are torn between giving up your CD drive or not, For gaming (as what this was designed for) you dont need one.

Perfect Design, poor execution

Thermaltake Massive23 LX Notebook Cooler CLN0015
Thermaltake Massive23 LX Notebook Cooler CLN0015

Pros: I bought this for my LENOVO Y500 gaming laptop.Great design. Does it work? yes, i have had 6-7hr gaming sessions with little problems. A few times i had to Alt+tab to go to desktop and let the laptop cool down for a few minutes. As a everyday internet use laptop, this will do just fine.

Cons: It does not push enough air for a gaming laptop. The LENOVO Y500 has a huge air intake and enough stock cooling to handle itself. But any gamer would invest in a $30-$40 cooler for their $1000+ laptop for extra insurance.

Overall Review: Some of the reviews says it pushes air, and some doesn't. Some said it works for gaming laptops and some didn't. It was hard to get a solid answer in the reviews. I love the design of the cooler, but that fan sucks. I am going to take it apart and install a beefier fan in it. I think the stock fan might push enough air with more voltage to it. 5VDC from the USB just might not be enough. I am going to mess around with voltage and a different fan.
