Pros: Small, good, socket installation was straight forward, all things clearly labeled.
Cons: I don't know I would call this a con, but, I have a windows XP story to tell.
So, I kept getting a stop error when installing XP. I needed a 3rd party raid driver, which I could pull of the CD and put onto a floppy at boot with the software the mobo came with. Problem is, my floppy is IDE, and this board does not support that. One am in the morning, i wasn't going out to get one, so I tried solutions I got from the net (via my phone) and finally figured out a work around on my own by setting the sata devices to read as IDE in the hard drive sata port.
This solution was much MUCH less complicated then what I had read on Tom's Hardware, and should be remembered, should you run into the same problem.
Other Thoughts: If I had set BIOS correctly on the first setup, I would've breezed through installation. Also I am applaud at how certain experts recommendations where atrociously complicated and required at least the use of another pc.
Next thought, XP support ends in less than a year, so I doubt new products will be made with it in mind, if able to run on it at all.
Pros: As of installing this GPU, I am watching my four cores sit idle at four percent, and shooting up to a whopping fourteen when playing Skyrim on high settings.
Cons: None at the moment.
Other Thoughts: I would say I was ready for the next gen of games to come.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Rosewill HIVE Series HIVE-650 Continuous 650W@40°C Power Supply
Pros: Big and beautiful, called "The Hive", which your competitors will find intimating.
Cons: BIG, but still beautiful. If my cpu heat sink was any bigger or more the the left, it would not have fit. As is now, the cables are scrunched up and worked around the case, but, it the case is fourteen years old.READ FULL REVIEW
