This review is from: Intel BOXDZ77RE75K LGA 1155 Intel Z77 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
Pros: Very sturdy build quality, excellent onboard sound, nice design and layout, built-in speaker for post beep, little LED display let's you know whats wrong (if anything), Thunderbolt port, plenty of USB 3.0.
Got this motherboard for my first build and I must say it made things very easy. I didn't do any overclocking, but the bios is very nice looking and very easy to navigate.
I had to mount and dismount this into my case a few times since the cutout hole for the CPU cooler mount was off from where I needed it and I was worried that I might damage something while doing this, but this thing is built well and had no issues.
Cons: None. It's nice to have a PC that can utilize the transfer speed of Thunderbolt. I don't move giant folders often, but when I do I do not like to wait around for more than 5 minutes or so... and now I catch myself putting pros in the cons section :D
Other Thoughts: I don't have a lot of experience with motherboards, but I trust Intels build quality over ASUS, MSI, or Gigabyte. In retrospect I wish I had gone with an extended ATX board to fit my case better, live and learn.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: This case is big and VERY sturdy. It comes with all the cooling power you need for most setups and some built in options if you want to add a liquid cooling unit.
I got this case with my first full build just so I'd have space to add or upgrade whatever I want in the next few years, but honestly I could see this thing lasting a decade.
This case really does have extremely good airflow, it fully lives up to it's name. I positioned mine with the front and side (intake) fans facing towards a window which I leave cracked and when I put my hand over the top fan the exhaust air is always cool.
The case is easy to open and clean, there are no places for dust to collect in any significant amount so I have not had to clean very often.
Cons: I don't know if this is a common issue for this case or if it is only a problem with my motherboard, but my Intel BOXDZ77RE75K did not align well with the cutout for the CPU cooler mount (Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus). I had to expand the cutout on the case myself, which is not all that easy with the tough material this case is made from. It was not a huge problem, but it delayed my build a couple of hours since I had to go get a cutting tool. If you have a Dremel already, you're good to go.
Other Thoughts: There is an updated version of this case for $30 more right now, but from the looks of it it sports just one more 200 mm exhaust fan on the top, personally I don't see the need for any more cooling than this case provides.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: This monitor really is great for gaming. Refresh rate is top notch and it's much more cost effective than BENQ monitors.
Cons: Right out of the box, as other people have said, the colors and brightness are horrible. I spent about 10 minutes adjusting settings and was pretty satisfied, then adjusted a little bit more a couple days later and I am very happy with them. It would be best to watch movies or TV shows on another monitor most likely since this type of LCD just doesn't do cinema very well.
Other Thoughts: If you are doing any sort of competitive gaming requiring fast accuracy, this monitor will definitely help. I thought it was kind of a gimmick to charge more at first, but that is not really the case.READ FULL REVIEW
