Finally a case i can love
Pros: Very Large Great cable management Layout is done very well with lots of options
Cons: Something was stuck in the front fan, once I got it removed it spun right up.
Overall Review: I'd been looking for a replacement to my old 4 foot Pentium 2 case I had been using since nobody made towers that large anymore. I happened to see this case one day, and I had everything my old case offered, room, HDD space, and tons of fans.
Skyrim VR is so much better now
Pros: Updated from a gtx980 and would get degraded performance with it in high asset areas and over time. This 2080 has none of those issues and I can go for hours without any twitching. I did a lot of research and found MSI cards were stable I checked the card return list and you’ll see none for MSI but tons of EVGA and ASUS which surprised me I always used to write MSI off as being cheap.
Cons: Price was good compared to the rest but wish the TI wasn’t so much more expensive than this I would of bought that one.
Overall Review: Defiantly emtecommend
Once you go Zalman you never go back
Pros: Large, works, and easy to install. This one even shocked me with its size, and I though my last two were large.
Cons: Had to pull the two sides apart a bit as I must of pushed them in when putting it down and the fan was hitting.
Overall Review: This is my third generational computer with this type of Zalman fan, I have yet to have an issue. Read the instructions carefully, they tend to give you warnings early in the book and that can confuse the installation order. Best thing to do is to get a high lighter and highlight all the instructions that don't pertain to your processor type to make it easier.
8 years of Fun
Pros: It has been 8 years and it still going strong. I can still play most every game on high settings. Now i'm getting ready to upgrade to the 980 superclocked, and i expect another 8 years.
Cons: Buying two was a waste, i ended up only ever needing one.
Going good
Pros: Much quicker then my old 250gig seagates. Transfered over 500 gigs of data from one of these drives to another to make a copy in a very short time.
Cons: None yet, after my stint with 4 250gig Seagate Barracuda drives im through with Seagate. I heard these are very reliable though so we will see.
Overall Review: Contrary to what Newegg usually does from reviews i've ready they actually packed the HD's pretty well.
HD
Pros: Works. Cheap price.
Cons: The IDE power connectors are cheaply made and it can be hard to plug the sata power adapter in. You have to line it up just right since the pins in the male IDE end are wiggly and don't sit straight. Also the IDE female end although they are held in place and straight if you look at it sideways you can see the pins were not set flush when the molded.
Overall Review: Do to the cheapness of the IDE connector I can see how some people might be connecting it backwards and thus burning out drives. If you look on the Power end of it you should see number 1 through 4. When connecting the sata adapter 1 should be yellow, 2 and 3 shoudl be black and 4 should be red.
Fit perfectly
I’m always worried when buying a fan but this one fit perfectly
