This review is from: NZXT Sentry-2 5.25" Touch Screen Fan Controller
Pros: This fan controller functions exactly as advertised. The screen looks pretty, and the touchscreen works perfectly so far. I also like that it comes with temp. readers that you can place anywhere in your case that you want, so you can get an accurate understanding of which fans you need to be sure are moving enough air. The interface it simple and easy, once you figure it out.
Cons: The package does not include installation instructions, but anyone with a grain of common sense can figure it out after a minute of inspecting the cables, which are all clearly labeled.
Other Thoughts: Just a heads up, this unit is made of somewhat flimsy feeling plastic on the sides. Not really an issue, you just need to be a bit more careful when installing it. Once it is installed, however, it literally doesn't matter.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: This card has great performance at a good price, especially since I got mine on sale for $195. Paired with an AMD FX-6350 (OC to 4.3 GHz), I average about 48 FPS on max preset in World of Tanks, about 67 FPS average on ultra settings in BF4, and about 50 FPS average on ultra settings in Far Cry 4. This card also has plenty of VRAM to run 2 1080p screens (not using Eyefinity). The card also comes with a stable factory overclock, and if your case has good airflow, you can take the OC even higher. I was able to up mine another 75 MHz with no problems. I could go higher, but there isn't really any reason to. The card also looks nice as well in cases with side panel windows. The Sapphire branding on the side of the card glows yellow-orange when it is powered on. There is also a clean looking black metal back plate that gives the card an even more premium look. All around, this is a great card
Cons: Being an overclocked AMD graphics chip, this card does get rather hot. I've noticed, using MSI Afterburner on my second screen, that this card reaches 65~70 degrees Celsius at times when playing graphically intense games such as Far Cry 4 and BF4, but then the fans adjust their speed to keep the card below 70 degrees, so this may have been an intentional design choice from Sapphire. Another con is that when the fans rev up to above about 45, the sound is very noticeable above my normal case fans, and I can even hear it when wearing my Logitech G430 headset. This isn't a huge issue for me, but I can imagine it would be for some people.
Other Thoughts: This card is long... Look in the specs sheet of this product and be sure your case will be able to fit it in. Overall, I think this is a great card for a good price.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: AVerMedia C875 (Live Gamer Portable) Video Device
Pros: -Extremely good audio/video recording quality
-No frame/performance loss while recording
-Great quality in PC free mode (still 1080p, but the bit rate is a little lower)
-Small form factor
Cons: -Doesn't make me bacon
Other Thoughts: I've seen a lot of negative reviews on this device. There are obviously some duds, but that's the case with ALL electronic devices. For the people who are having issues with the audio passthrough, you have to tell the AverMedia RECentral software that you are using the passthrough. It will NOT automatically detect it. Also, on the Avermedia website there are great forums and FAQs on the product and workarounds for common issues. This great device.READ FULL REVIEW
