This review is from: Linksys WRT1900AC Dual-Band Smart Wi-Fi Wireless AC Router (2.4 + 5Ghz)
Pros: Looks good. Lots of features. You can install open firmware.
Cons: 5GHz band is unreliable. Router needs to be rebooted at least once a week to regain performance. It gets very hot.
Other Thoughts: I bought a fan for this router just to keep it cool, thinking that's why it kept slowing down. It needs a reboot at least once a week to get advertised speeds. The Wired part works fine, but wireless has lots of issues. It also interferes with our baby monitorREAD FULL REVIEW
Pros: Compatible with T530. Very reliable.
Cons: NoneREAD FULL REVIEW
Pros: Incredible reliability, speed, performance, beautiful display, great battery life.
Other Thoughts: I've owned lots of Dell Inspirons, and Toshiba laptops over the years. This is my first Lenovo. Although I paid a lot more than I would like to spend on a laptop, I decided I wanted a replacement for my desktop. This has not dissapointed. I can't express enough how reliable this machine has been. I've had it for almost 2 years now. I replaced the stock 500GB 5400RPM drive with an SSD (Samsung 830 Pro), and I upgraded the memory to 16GB. I also replaced the internal DVD-RW for BD-R that I got on e..Bay for $75, and I bought the port replicator. I love this laptop and am sold on the T series reliability, and will continue to purchase T series laptops.
Also, unlike the other reviewer that claims there's bloatware, I find that the Lenovo Update facitlity is well built and ensures firmware updates are applied periodically. I had one issue once with the sound driver, but Lenovo fixed that quickly.
Sadly, I am done putting my own desktop systems together. This machine met and surpassed all of my needs.
