ASUS Z87-A LGA 1150 Intel Z87 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: This is a great budget mobo, it gives you the 1150 socket and some practical overclocking features. I would buy this again if I were to build another budget 1150 rig.

Cons: Who made the back plate??? It took me ages to fix the back plate into my case. This is something that ASUS needs to fix...not a huge issue for me (not worth dropping an egg) but come on ASUS, surely you tried to arm your own mobo's before?

Other Thoughts: I was VERY worried I may have received a mobo with bent pins. Luckily when I opened the box the socket had its protector. It has some good over clocking features but I would suggest getting the pro or better as they seem to be more loaded with features. I am overclocking my CPU and using the automated overclocking features that the bios has in place and it is stable.

Pros: It is ram and it does what it is advertised as, I have no problems with it for now.....looks nice and organized. I have no qualms with its performance for the moment.

Cons: Kind of pricey....DDR4 is around the corner, if your building a new rig any time soon just wait til they come out with DDR4.

Other Thoughts: Kind of weak in my opinion...make sure to get better memory if your mobo can handle it.

Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO - CPU Cooler with 120 mm PWM Fan

5 out of 5 eggs Works great 12/23/2013

This review is from: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO - CPU Cooler with 120 mm PWM Fan

Pros: This CPU cooler is way better then the stock Intel CPU I had for my 4670k. It has dropped temps dramatically. I would suggest anyone with the case to get this cooler as it does as its suppose to do. It does well for an air cooling fan.

Cons: It can be big, make sure your case can fit this guy in. I had to take out the mobo out of the chassis to properly install this. It was not huge for me, but taking out the mobo made installation much smoother.

Other Thoughts: Installing can be a bit of a pain, should not take you more then 30mins to install and have the computer up and running again. Please make sure you position your fan correctly, I as the idiot I am installed everything and placed the fan on the wrong side and had to disassemble the computer again to fix this. It comes with thermal paste BUT I suggest using a well known and trusted aftermarket thermal paste. I used Artic Silver 5 and have used it for all my builds(I'm not sure what thermal paste cooler master included on the package but I'm not using it). I don't plan to overclock like crazy on this CPU so I bought this, don't overclock at high speeds and ignore that you need water cooling (well its a better option).
