Great Cable, but not for Dell
Pros: nice cable... but not for a Dell E520
Cons: Will not fit in a Dell Dimension E520 either... not enough clearance between the drive and the case. It sticks out too far.
Overall Review: I haven't been able to use it in this machine, but it works fine in another. It's not in the machine that I bought it for, but by strange luck, I happened to get another machine that needed one.
you get what you pay for
Pros: Easy to set up and use... the quick release for the camera is nice as well.
Cons: The little crank handle is broken, it still turns and works, but the knob refuses to stay on.
Overall Review: it's a little short for camera use... probably good for video camera.
Nice Case
Pros: It's a nice looking case
Cons: doesn't work well with ubuntu server, it's meant for Raspbian only.
Overall Review: It looks nice sitting on the table under the TV. It's meant for Raspbian only. while you can get it to work with some modification of its script, it leaves "zombie processes" and the fan runs all the time anyway.
Pleasantly Surprised
Pros: solid case, decent picture night or day, easy to set up and install. for the price, I'm quite happy and am waiting for them to be in stock again... meh.
Cons: the interface isn't great, but not really a con.
Overall Review: the cameras (I bought 2, wish I'd gotten 3) were a lot bigger than I was expecting them to be... not obnoxiously big, just larger than I thought they would be.
It works!
Pros: It filled that PCIe slot where an outdated modem once sat. It worked with Windows 7 without issue. I can transfer files across my network with blazing speed.
Cons: can't think of any...
Overall Review: I had tried another card quite some time ago that didn't work for long. This one has given me no issues, it's just been working like a charm.
Does not work... pure junk
Pros: Under $40, USB, 4 video, Left and Right Audio...
Cons: 1 egg is as low as I can go? This will not work with Windows 7, don't even bother! It does not seem to work with Windows XP either. I even downloaded the drivers from sabrent site, didn't help. Both machines found it, neither could install it. W7 had a nice BSOD during one attempt at installation. The software just says "Install failed..." and XP can't find a driver, the hardware may not work. Well, it does not work. "Cannot Install this Hardware"
Overall Review: You get what you pay for? I honestly didn't expect much out of it, but I expected more than nothing. I'm not even going to bother with returning it, it's not worth paying to return it, it can go to the dump.
machine is fine
"Delivered on Time" is a rather loose description. It took slightly over a month to get to me. The only problems I had were the thing thought my stereo was a 4k television so I had no video other than "out of range" on the TV. The A/V out on the thing let me know it was working but the video was nearly unusable. Now that I've gotten it to ignore what it's plugged into it works just fine with good audio and video quality. It replaces my FireTV since Armerzon peshed me off again.
