This review is from: Rosewill RX355-U Aluminum 3.5" IDE USB 2.0 External Enclosure
Pros: Fan is removable, sturdily built, lights are not distracting, has an on/off switch, stand included, easy to remove screws (can use a coin) on back..
Cons: None so far, but I haven't had it a super long time.
Other Thoughts: I've seen enclosures for this price that where nowhere near as nice.
Hard drive tray is plastic. This isn't really a con as it seems very stable, but I prefer metal if possible. Again, it's been solid so far so I didn't remove an egg just for that.
Drive had bad interference without a case and has none at all with this case.
Pros: Small, fast and cheap. What more do you need? Works great as an HTPC main board.
Other Thoughts: This is a fantastic little board/CPU combo. I was hesitant to buy it at first, as I've never owned anything by Biostar and they don't always have the best reviews. Plus, I wasn't sure if the board/CPU could run HD MKVs and the like.
I'm pleased to say it runs great and has readily handled everything I've thrown at it, using the onboard graphics and sound. Paired it with a 275W PSU, 8G of RAM & Windows 7 64 bit and it runs like a champ. I use it off and on several days per week and it hasn't given me any issues.
Pros: Works fine. Like that you can change the face plate.
Cons: Bit flimsy, but not too bad.
Other Thoughts: Works fine, only real issue is that the SD card slot (which is the one most used nowadays), is kinda chintzy. Gotta make sure you have the card lined up just right and sometimes have to press down very slightly on the shielding for it to go in.
Otherwise it works fine, no problems, especially for the price.
