Other Thoughts: This is supposed to be 1600 MHz, but the spd automatically clocks it to 1333 MHz, and manually setting it to the rated 1600 MHz resulted in a system that wouldn't even post (this was with an Asus P8H77-I and an i3-2120T). Swapping another manufacturer's 8 gig module in and setting it to 1600MHz worked just fine. If it's not going to run at 1600 MHz, then it shouldn't be sold as 1600 MHz. If you decide to try this, remember that you're responsible for the cost of return shipping on a defective item.
