Pros: Well I have some more info. I have now used it extensively with USB 3.0, but... Still no go. I have determined what the problem is though. (see other thoughts)
Cons: USB 3.0 cord is junk.
Other Thoughts: I suspected that the problem I was having was the cord, and I thought well before I buy a different brand I'll just get a new cord, well I couldn't find these special cords, although I did minimal searching, I though why not just put a USB 2.0 cord on it because it looks similar with out the top piece, so I did and it has worked with out a problem, It's only 2.0 fast but its better than buying a new one.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Quality feel, heavy base, on/off button, USB 3.0, uses both 3.5 and 2.5 drives without a problem.
Cons: Well Some of the other reviews are similar to the problems I've had. I have this hooked up to my desktop in a USB 2.0 port, it will not recognize the drive 90% of the time. Then even with the product off (but still plugged in) I noticed my computer was freezing randomly, and when I went to restart my computer it would not restart, it was only when I unplugged this device it would restart, have not had any freezing since I unplugged it.
Good luck with any returns, product from china.
Other Thoughts: I have used it in a USB 3.0 port but not enough to make any conclusions. I am upgrading my desktop to USB 3.0 soon and will update my review with further usage. If it fails, I will probably go with a Rosewill product , better customer service.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Good fast memory. Still going strong after a year.
Cons: Was going to buy more until I seen the price has more than doubled scince I bought it, June '09.
Other Thoughts: Just wondering why memory has more than doubled in price from a year ago, a little overkill if you ask me. I paid forty-nine dollars june '09.READ FULL REVIEW
