StarTech 3 Port Component Video Splitter with Digital Audio ST123HDA
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: 1 week to 1 month

Pros: Works as designed with no audio degradation. I didn't have an RCA audio pass through on my new flat screen to hook up some older audio equipment, I needed two sets of RCA, one set input, one output to route the sound back to my pre-amp in order to hook up my DVD changer, and 80's audio equipment.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Worked like a charm. Now I can enjoy my DVD concerts again.

Microsoft LifeChat LX-3000 USB Connector Circumaural Stereo Headset

Pros: My son liked it when it was working, was a Christmas gift.

Cons: Broke after about 5 weeks

Other Thoughts: I knew better, should have bought the Logitech version.

MSI P67A-GD65 (B3) LGA 1155 Intel P67 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: 1 month to 1 year

Pros: I have two of these boards since last summer. Nothing wrong with these boards that I know of other than the second one had an older bios, and would not let windows 7 load on either a SSD or SATA drive, and would not accept the latest bios. The first one had no issues with a 1 TB WD drive I got for $49 at on Black friday in 2010.

Cons: Before I flashed it, I could not install windows 7 on either a SSD or SATA drive on the second one I purchased. I chose a slightly older bios, same one as the other board, and was able to load windows 7 on the SSD. No other issues since. It just about drove me crazy. Seems every mobo I buy for him I have to flash before it works.

Other Thoughts: These systems were for my kids, they wont let me OC them, running a 2500k on one and 2600k on the other. They say they are fast enough, face/palm. Ok, for now, someday we will. Running dual HD 4850's on one and a 560ti on the other. No more complaints from them about slow systems anymore. I suggest first trying a different bios before RMA'ing
