This review is from: Targus APB25US External Battery Power Bank for Smartphones
Pros: Small, lightweight.
Cons: DOA. Will charge only for 1 minute.
Other Thoughts: Got the unit on sale. Left it in a drawer until I found time to unbox and charge it. Unfortunately that happened way passed the Newegg return period.
Overnight charged it the for the first charge. When connected to the phone (Galaxy S5), will only charge for 1 minute after pressing the only button on it. I referred to the 1 page, 10 line manual and there is not much to it so I don't think I'm missing a step.
For the price I paid for it, my time is not worth the hassle of dealing with Targus' support. It will be going to the trash can.
This review is from: Rosewill RX-C200P 2.5" SSD / HDD Plastic Mounting Kit for 3.5" Drive Bay
Pros: Comes with a bunch of screws. Fits perfectly. Capable of 2 SSDs.
Cons: Did not find any.
Other Thoughts: Wanted revive an old Dell Optiplex for basic use. Used this to install and adapt an SSD in the 3.5" bracket. Being a very handy person, I could have kludged it enough to make it work but it would be impractical for any future service. I tried using 3 different adapters that came with several of my SSDs and none would fit all needs. This adapter was the best solution I found. All holes match perfectly and has the perfect dimensions for Dell's bracket to sit the way it should. Did not use the second SSD space but is definitely a nice bonus.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: SYBA SD-CM-UAUD USB 2.0 External Stereo Audio Adapter
Pros: Works right out of the box. No need for drivers. Sounds good (or at least not bad). Flawless installation.
Cons: Volume control does not work. It is either on or off. There is a slight variation from 0 to 10 but nothing between 10 and 100. I lost volume control from my mouse or keyboard. Now I have to stretch my hand to control the physical knob on the speaker. Not even the volume control on youtube or pandora work right.
Other Thoughts: Great solution as long as volume control is not required. Sounds good.READ FULL REVIEW
