Pros: Keys and optical mouse prevent grubby screen
Space for 2 SIMS is great for 2-city commuters
Samsung telephone support was OK
Reasonable selection of onboard functions
Cons: No detailed information available
Started up in Spanish
Small screen for multimedia
Other Thoughts: The phone comes with limited and inaccurate instructions. Mine booted up the first time in Spanish. Took ages figuring out how to set to English (Menu, Config, Telefono, Idioma). After that, not too difficult.
The video format is not defined other than in their basic spec. After having numerous formats rejected I made a video with the camera and analyzed it. 3GP MP4/H.264 AMR audio at 15fps 176x144. I used that plus the native screen size of 220x176 (letterbox widescreen video). Others may work too if you experiment. Mp3 audio worked fine. I did not try other formats.
I could not get Samsung's PC Studio to connect and it's not clear which version would, if any. I used Mass Storage mode and manually set up my playlists. Using Artist lists or Playlists/Recently Added can speed that up. May be an issue for those frequently updating. If USB cannot connect, turn phone completely Off then On and try again.
Pros: Lots of goodies
Nice display visually
Had all the gizmos and specs I needed
Cons: Screen was sometimes difficult to operate and would go haywire.
Display kept switching off after a very short time, making it difficult to do anything (multiple keys had to be pressed to get back where you were).
Took forever to start up with music loaded.
Playlists mostly would not appear.
Misleading instructions (minor issues).
Other Thoughts: Could have been a faulty phone, or not.READ FULL REVIEW
