BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!
Pros: I've been using this keyboard as a HTPC/Gaming PC keyboard for over a year with absolutely zero issues. The back lighting is fancy, the keys have just the right feel to them (typing anything is a treat), and the battery lasts a very long time! I like the calculator button, and the sleep button (FN + F8) is really convenient for an HTPC setup! But the best thing about it? The customer service! Since I use this keyboard on the couch, dropping it on the floor is always a potential hazard. Recently, it fell so hard into the corner of my coffee table that a key broke off. I called Logitech to purchase a new key and instead they are sending me a brand new unit! For free! And I don't even have a receipt!!! That right there should negate almost every bad review about this device. I'd give more eggs if I could!
Cons: Uses the same frequency (2.4 GHz) as a lot of other wireless devices such as wireless routers. Not that I've had an issue with the keyboard, but I share the same tiny USB receiver with a Logitech Anywhere MX mouse (also love it) and noticed severe lag issues with the mouse until I changed the channel on my wireless router - now everything is PERFECT. I would assume everyone who says not to use this for gaming or that it's not very responsive is probably only dealing with this very simple problem. So not really a con if you can figure out how to change the channel your router is broadcasting on.
Overall Review: I've read a previous review about bad battery life, and that is just not true. I've had this keyboard for almost 2 years and I've had to recharge it somewhere around 10 times. I'm in the habit of switching it off whenever I'm not using it, and that seems to be working really really well.
What they don't tell you
Pros: Motorized brush bar attachment is nice to have for sweeping up pet hair.
Cons: There is NO peak detection built in to the charge base. This requires you to unplug the vacuum after it's done charging or you will destroy the battery. I always thought the convenience of a hand vac was to keep handy on a wall-mounted charging station, and this product is NOT that kind of hand vac.
Couldn't be happier!
Pros: Doesn't use much power. Silent at idle, extremely quiet while gaming. Can run anything at highest settings with 1080 resolution. Heavy duty build quality with back plate. No gaudy lights - just a nice, big cooling system. And most importantly... the overclocking potential is impressive! I was able to boost the core clock another 200 MHz beyond the factory OC, pushing it into the 1500 MHz range...and it still runs at about 50 degrees C! (I have 5 cheap fans in a large Corsair case). The GPU Tweak tool was more easy to use compared to EVGA's Precision software in my opinion.
Cons: It broke my Skyrim! Just kidding, that's not really a con, it's just something that will happen with some games when you don't have VSync enabled and your graphics card is pushing way past 100 FPS - this card is great! (The physics timing of some games is apparently linked to framerate).
Overall Review: I'm a big Just Cause 2 fan and when I heard Just Cause 3 was coming out, I wanted to upgrade my system from an EVGA GTX 660. I'm so happy I went with ASUS - this card is nothing but impressive.
High Quality per Dollar
Pros: I give this monitor 5 eggs because I got it for a great price and I'm impressed with the picture quality. 50% of the time I use this monitor, the sun is hitting it at a bad angle - and it still looks good! It's not that the screen is too bright (see cons), but the anti-glare film along with the IPS technology make this monitor easy to look at. Quick response time, minimal color distortion near the edges, and DVI inputs make me a happy customer.
Cons: Screen isn't as bright as I would like it to be, despite the minimal glare. I had to play around with the settings to make everything perfect. The stand is a little flimsy (no more than every other cheap widescreen monitor stand IMO) but I try to move the monitor by the base and not the screen if I need to shift things around because I fear it may get worse with abuse.
Overall Review: I originally purchased a Samsung C150 series monitor that had such a poor viewing angle, it technically had NO viewing angle. During a fit of frustration, I exchanged it for this monitor knowing nothing about AOC but feeling so betrayed by Samsung (who I thought made nothing but quality) and I'm very glad I did.
Quite the mouse
Pros: Works on glass, dark brown leather, my knee.... pretty much anywhere (hence the name). Battery lasts a long time and has survived many accidental drops. Very nice to have such a small USB receiver. The unifying receiver allows multiple Logitech devices to only utilize one USB port, which I can attest to working flawlessly.
Cons: Works great for gaming, but there are better options if you are sensitive to a few extra milliseconds like bluetooth and wired mice. For using it on the couch or in a hotel or in front of a customer, I love it.
Overall Review: After owning two I have not seen some of the issues that other owners are experiencing (double-click issue or power switch not being fully pressed) but I HAVE had a terrible lag issue that was more noticeable when web surfing or playing online games. It turns out this mouse, as well as many other wireless devices, uses the same 2.4 GHz frequency as my router. By simply changing the channel of my router from 10 to 11, I completely fixed the problem. If you ever hear anyone complaining of 'lag' issues, it means they weren't able to figure this out.
Beautiful!
Pros: Quiet, elegant, and works perfectly out of the box with no hassle! Blu ray movies (software not included) play quickly.
Cons: None so far.
