This review is from: Fractal Design Core1100 (FD-CA-CORE-1100-BL) Black MicroATX Mini Tower Computer Case
Pros: Cheap, easy to use for build, nice looking, USB3
Cons: HUGE issue with power switches not working. Currently at 30% failure rate on these cases over the last 3 months. 25 cases, 8 DOA power switches
Other Thoughts: We LOVE Fractal Design cases and have used them for years for all of our system builds, but this particular model started having major issues several months back. We've purchased from local suppliers, NewEgg, other online provders, etc. and without fail we have at least a 30% failure rate on the power switches. Fractal is great about sending new front panels, but this is getting really old, really fast.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Memjet C6030 InkJet Printer
Pros: When it works, its breathtakingly fast.
Cons: 1st unit DOA
2nd unit lasted 6 weeks
Had to call corporate to find number for support
3rd party support who will NOT deal with the end user, only the actual dealer you purchased the printer from
Other Thoughts: This is the most expensive printer we've ever purchased, and the 1st unit arrived DOA. The replacement unit lasted 6 weeks before refusing to boot up without a series of 0x codes displayed on the panel.
The lack of support is appalling. It took nearly an hour to get through to someone at corporate, who had to find out who to contact for support, as there is zero documentation for support.
The 'support' is a 3rd party company who will only deal with the dealer you purchased the printer from, not you the end-user.
For a printer that cost over $1,000 this has been a mind-blowingly awful experience. We've returned our printer for a refund and will not recommend this to any of our clients.
Pros: We've used these 8GB kits in ~ 75 system builds and to date have only had one chip give us a problem. Rock solid memory.
Cons: None - just ordered another 80GB for system builds. Keep up the great work G.Skill
Other Thoughts: It seems not that long ago that Newegg had a sale on these kits for $25, back when the kits were going for low $40's. Now the kits are $65, but all RAM prices have been steadily tracking upwards. Sure wish we could have another big sale on these...READ FULL REVIEW
