This review is from: Corsair Carbide Series 300R Black Steel / Plastic ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
Pros: - Quality workmanship
- motherboard mounting has built-in posts
- mounting drives into case is a snap
- two 120mm fans come with the case
- overall great setup, no problems
Cons: Generic mobo mounting template leaves last two inches of motherboard unsupported. Just have to remember to support underside of board when making connections there.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Corel PDF Fusion
Pros: Typical Corel product - very intiutive, smooth install
Easy to move pages between documents.
Love the flick view, page view and assembly view. Have not actually used the assembly view yet.
Tabs at top of page track open documents which allow you to move between open documents more easily. In the navigation pane at the left side of the document, I like the tabs at the bottom to move between bookmarks, pages and comments view.
This package is an excellent alternative to Adobe standard.
PDF Fusion will do most things I normally do with PDF documents.
Well worth the $69 price tag and a very good deal at $49. If you can get the $40 rebate and end up effectively paying $9, it's almost a steal. Wish the rebate would allow more than 1 purchase. I have 4 computers in my household and would eagerly fork out $9/package. After using Corel WordPerfect for years and still miss the ease of use of version 9, Corel has not disappointed me with PDF Fusion.
Cons: Not as feature rich as Adobe 9.0 Pro which I use at work.
Even though NewEgg limits purchases to 5, the $40 Rebate limits persons, households, addresses to one the number of rebates which may be used.
Other Thoughts: During the install prcess, the install asks for the serial number to access the advanced features. I don't know what advanced features Corel means. I would guess that without the serial number all you end up installing is a pdf reader only, but that is just a guess.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Video card arrived in perfect shape.
Video card installed without a hitch.
Software installed smoothly. Video card works flawlessly.
The HD4830 video card operates cooler than the Sapphire HD2600 XT I have installed in my other desktop. The HD4830 scores 5.9 on Vista 64 bit OS while the HD2600 XT scores 5.4 on a Vista 32 bit OS.
Cons: Installation instructions were a bit sparce. The English instructions fit on a 3" x 5" card. Instructions are probably insufficient for anyone who is not experienced at installing video cards.
Minimum power supply (PS) for this video card is 450 watts. Two video card in Crossfire configuration will require at least a 550 watt PS. This is only a problem if your PS is rated less than required.
Other Thoughts: The HD4830 video card is installed in the following system:
Antec Sonata mid tower case
Antec NEO 550 watt power supply
AMD 9950 Quad core CPU
MSI DKA790 GX Mobo
4 Gig OCZ Reaper HPC memory
Vista 64 OS

of course, New Egg rock!
