Pros: Price wasn't too bad considering the size. Works like any other drive, just plug it in and go for the most part. Small, lightweight, shock resistant and with no moving parts runs silent obviously. On a clean install my boot time was under 30 seconds. Thats fast.
Cons: They claim all kinds of crazy speed on the transfer rates. In real life situations expect around 160mb per second. I can get higher numbers with specialized bench marking software settings to create the ideal conditions for the drive. But thats just bad science. Also just a little over 2 years and it began to has intermittent failure during boot. Had it hooked up raid zero during this time period and when the drive would fail the raid controller would post and report the raid array as good but the drive itself in error. Odd that the drive would claim to be in error and yet the raid zero would still be up and functioning. this did not last because shortly there after the drive went ahead and died. I have put in for an RMA from OCZ directly.
Other Thoughts: I have purchased OCZ in the past and have had no trouble. I like the boot speed on these things and for all intents and purposes that fast boot up is why I use ssd, otherwise they are very short on storage space for the price and in real world conditions do not perform to the specs which they claim.READ FULL REVIEW
