Pros: spec for spec identical to the ASUS ROG Swift.
functions well for many of the games i've played or plan to play (mechwarrior online, StarCitizen, Fallout, etc)
Gsync easy to enable (it was actually on when i hooked it up in nVidias control panel, perhaps an auto-detect?)
Cons: shipped box as is, not the sturdiest box in the world guys, i know i asked for it quickly but cmon, i cut 2 spots and pulled a tab and it fell apart.
1, possibly 2 dead pixels near top of the screen
Other Thoughts: so for the same price i could have ordered a monitor of this caliber as an ISP panel, from somewhere in asia for about the same price or less, why'd i buy this then? simple i wanted a monitor asap, from a company that should hold itself to a higher standard than an overseas brand, and for the price we pay, i would think 0 deadpixels would be our standard but i guess not, not salty about it just hoped. i bought this after waiting to be put on back order for the ASUS ROG Swift. the day i was put on my purchase was voided my card charged to newegg then refunded 3-5 days later, rather than, just not billed at all. then heres the kicker after that the price on the monitor went up so if i wanted it i'd be paying 150$ more than i originally was, with shipping.
i bought this as a big FU to the people who will suck up to ASUS and order 3 or so of their awful monitor because its got their "gamer brand" on it, it shouldnt need a special gamer brand its got GSYNC built into, this already makes it a gaming monitor its redundant to call it a special gaming monitor.
all in all this product was the right choice, decent price, got it next day on a saturday and setup within minutes of opening it. default brightness was a bit high for me personally but its stock settings otherwise are just right.
4/5, if i was a rich kid, i'd rather buy 3 of these than the over bloated ROG swift.
This review is from: ASUS P8B75-V LGA 1155 Intel B75 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
Pros: very expansive, with a lot you can do to customize your build.
Cons: is a larger board than most.
Other Thoughts: i saw this board a year ago and said this seems like a fairly decent board to build a gaming rig on, well i was definitely on the right track. its still performing well, stays relatively cool, and has a number of slots for adding your own sound card wireles cards and a decent number of spots for Fan connectors.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Fits nicley, works well, price is Fair for the average person, Looks neat for windowed cases.
Cons: not as fast a speed as i'd like.
Other Thoughts: even though it runs at a lower speed it still works great for any kind of gaming thats RAM intensive. i will say 16GB is a bit excessive for gaming but if you want to do Game development and 3D Modeling this amount is about the most you'd need. this 4 package is a great deal though if you want to build 2 gaming Rigs.READ FULL REVIEW
