OCZ Agility 4 2.5

Pros: fast, customer service seemed responsive

Cons: I purchased this drive in 2012. I used it for about 8 months before it completely died. Shows up sometimes and sometimes it does not. Before it died, it would take 3 or 4 reboots to get it to show up in the bios. Many times it would require me to reseat the drive to get it to show up for a few hours. I received a replacement via RMA. I had already reinstalled everything to my original HD that came with the laptop. So I did not use the replacement right away. I installed the replacement about 1 week ago and it has failed just like the original one did. I'm considering not even doing an RMA because I'm sick of paying shipping to return inferior products that have a history of being total lemons.

Pros: Easy to install, fast.

Cons: Seemed to start having issues after about 6 months of use. Could be laptop related, or SSD releated, uncertain. Seemed like anytime I would pack it up and put in my backpack I would have to unseat and reseat it multiple times before the bios would see it again, and then finally after a year it shows in bios, but is stuck trying to load into windows. If I boot from my other drive it doesn't show up unless I hotswap it. Then it will be there for maybe 30 seconds and vanish again. Seems like a power failure issue.

Other Thoughts: Trying to figure out how to contact OCZ about getting it replaced, or at least checked out to see if it is totally dead.

Pros: It's shiny and has pretty blue leds.

Cons: Uncertain if the reading is accurate, but the 3.3V is coming in at 1.89V. I'm using CPUID HW Monitor to get the reading. This build has been a nightmare from day one though. I have not been home for about a year after I first put this together. I came back and am still having the same issues. BSOD, freeze in bios, freeze in windows, freeze all over. The board has been replaced, memory, and cpu are fine. Still the system just acts very odd. Case lights don't illuminate or very dim, like they are running on very low power. Would like to RMA, but like I said it has been over a year since the purchase. Even though it has been sitting in my room unplugged for the majority of the last year.
