G.SKILL Sniper Low Voltage Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL9D-8GBSR2

Pros: Very high build quality- These feel amazing to hold. You can tell they are going to last you forever. The heat sinks are really solid and durable

The low voltage is cool if you are running a CPU that supports it. Sadly, many intel CPUs running win7 wont, but, if you bump it up a volt or so it runs perfectly stable.

EASILY overclockable. I overclocked to 1866 just for the heck of it one day. a quick change to the timings, and, presto. It runs perfectly stable. And since you have to put a little more power into it on an intel CPU anyhow, why NOT overclock it while you're at it.

And, fast, obviously. Great speed- paired with my SSD and i5, they make my computer run faster than any big cat could hope to

Cons: Some CPUs won't support the low voltage setting- in some cases you have to go up to 1.45 or 1.5. That isn't as much the fault of the RAM though as it is the CPU. So it's not worth docking an egg over.

Other Thoughts: Really, 8GB is becoming too little nowadays. Stupid windows update was taking over 3GB for me today, because its a devious little thing. I really hate windows, but I need to game >:D that being said, If you can spare the $$< go for 16GB. your computer will thank you. and trust me, these are worth it

CM Storm QuickFire TK - Compact Mechanical Gaming Keyboard with CHERRY MX Red Switches and Fully Backlit
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: less than 1 day

Pros: Really, Really smooth keys (the switches are like heaven),
the backlight is nice and bright, but can also be turned down,
the USB cord looks and feels pretty durable- I'm glad it's quality matches its price,
Great feedback,
I love the FN lock, and the winlock. theyre pretty awesome, gotta say

Cons: Only thing I really dislike is

LEDs for fnlock, the arrow keys, and the winlock button are indepenent of the rest of the keyboard, and it is to show whether they are active or not. While it is cool, I would prefer all my keys to be lighted up by default.

also, the only other thing is I was never really fond of compact keyboards, since i use both the numpad and arrow keys so much, but, its not a dealbreaker. just a new thing to get used to

Other Thoughts: I really have only had this for a day, and I'll probably write a review after I know how it lasts. But, I am really impressed with it. The each keystroke is like heaven- its realy smooth and responsive. This is a great gamer keyboard for someone who is looking for something that has quality- but isn't going to break the bank.

COOLER MASTER RC-692-KKN2 CM690 II Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: 1 month to 1 year

Pros: -Great cable management
-Great airflow
-Top I/O panel is really convenient
-Most of the case is really sturdy feeling. I can put heavy objects on it and it doesn't complain.
-The mesh design is really nice
-Near tool-less installation. The harddrive bays are nifty. I love how they slide out. Gives it a sophisticated feel.

Cons: -Some of the plastic parts feel a little flimsy. But, hey, it was built in China more than likely, what can you expect.
-It's bulky and heavy. Though, this is also a pro. It makes it spacious inside for great cable management and room for lots of additions, but, its a hassle to have to relocate.

Other Thoughts: I've played around with other computers before, but this was my first actual build from scratch. I know a decent amount of stuff.... but never had the money. I was lucky to get this on a black friday sale for around 60$. This case is absolutely amazing in every way, and I will probably keep with with me until it falls apart, or until MOBOs change their standards. Heck, i might even modify it if i have to for the future!
