Pros: - Cheapest 1070 at the time of purchase
- Gigabyte Software
- No false benchmarks, like ASUS
- 3 Display Ports
Cons: - Packaged software, I'd rather the card be cheaper.
Other Thoughts: I've seen some people complain about the # of display ports in relation to HDMI/DVI - trust me, this way is better. DP supports 4k @ 60hz, while DVI (even DVI-D) or HDMI do not. This card happily powers my 4K monitor and 2 1080p monitors, and it wouldn't break stride if I had 3 4k monitors. DP is the only way to achieve this, and adapter cables are incredibly cheap.
It's incredibly overclockable, with noticable gains. Tomb Raider jumped from 39 to 45 FPS from a ~ 10% overclock (max settings). Similar results on all other games tested. If you're ok with the 40FPS range on 4K games, this is the card for you.
