Pros: First time upgrading to a high end card and man are these 10 series awesome. I upgraded from a 770 to the 1070, so far I've tested out Doom, The Division, and Witcher 3 and everything runs perfectly smooth on Max settings.
I've always loved EVGA over other brands, they seem to have top end overclocking at better prices.
Cons: - Cooling fans were turned off when I first installed the card. Not sure if my card is just bad or it was a weird fluke but once I installed the Precision software and set the fan settings to Auto, the fans kicked on and see to be working fine.
Other Thoughts: For those comparing other brands, I personally love EVGA, last two cards have been awesome and my friends have also gone with EVGA and never had problems. 2 upgrades ago I had a MSI card that was bad and will never go back, I don't fault them for a bad card, but their customer service and RMA process was horrible.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Fan was great, originally gave it 5 stars but mine has recently started to die, well below the advertised 300k hours.
Cons: Purchased this fan just over 2 years ago, Feb 2013 according to newegg. However recently the bearing have started to go out so I get this continuous high pitch noise that's can't be ignored. Likely a defect and it's possibly under warranty, but for a $15 fan I doubt it's worth the time and cost to do an RMA.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Thing runs all of my games at max setting, good FPS, and it's much cheaper than a 780.
Other Thoughts: If your debating between other 700 series, I recommend going with the 770. Good middle ground between power and price.READ FULL REVIEW
