This review is from: Lenovo ThinkPad Twist 33472HU 12.5" Touchscreen Convertible Ultrabook
Pros: I love the flexibility of having both a laptop and a tablet in one. The touch screen is responsive and navigation through Windows 8 feels fluid and natural (once you get used to it and learn the various touch gestures). This laptop is also very thin and light, although there are certainly thinner and lighter ultrabooks on the market. The i5-3317U processor performs well enough that I haven't seen much in the way of performance issues. One of the most impressive features is how fast Windows 8 Pro boots up: Because the OS is installed on an SSD, it goes from BIOS to Login Screen in a matter of seconds. I was afraid that the hinge connecting the screen to the base would be a weak-point, but I'm pleased to say it feels solid and well built. The Intel HD 4000 graphics are great for non-gaming applications and the 1366x768 resolution provides a crisp, clear display on the 12.5" screen.
Cons: The only con I have found thus far is the inability to add RAM as it is soldered. The 4 GB in this laptop is more than adequate for most purposes, but if you plan on using anything that consumes a significant amount of memory (i.e. Hyper-V) you'll probably want to swing for the i7-3517U model which comes equipped with 8 GB of RAM for ~$150 more. For reference, with Visual Studio 2012 Ultimate running, my memory utilization is ~50% leaving 2.0 GB available.
Other Thoughts: Overall, this is a great laptop and I am pleased with my purchase so far. The only downside is the inability to increase/upgrade the RAM, but I have yet to see any performance issues with the stock 4 GB.READ FULL REVIEW
