AMD FX-4350 Vishera Quad-Core 4.2 GHz Socket AM3+ 125W FD4350FRHKBOX Desktop Processor
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: 1 week to 1 month

Pros: High-performance, inexpensive, excellent fan

Cons: Be nice if it was 95 watts

Other Thoughts: I needed to build another development box without investing a lot of money. For $69 the FX-4350 can't be touched - not even close - for price/performance. I put the box together with and older but decent video card and was surprised how well it ran various games such as Need for Speed, Call of Duty and Battlefield. Performance is much higher than I expected. The included fan is very high quality with copper pipes, lots of heat-sink surface area - keeping the cpu very cool even under the highest demand. I now have 4 AMD FX series. I've always been a bit fond of AMD - being the underdog and all. But, AMD keeps delivering serious value for the money.

5 out of 5 eggs Functional Fun Keyboard 12/04/2014

This review is from: Motospeed K70L USB Wired Seven Color Backlit Gaming Keyboard - Black

Pros: Compact, full key set, excellent feel, fun & functional illumination

Cons: Can't think of any

Other Thoughts: This was purely an impulse buy. I thought the back illumination would be fun and functional. I prefer working and gaming in more dark conditions and the back-light seemed like it would be helpful. It is indeed. The back-light shines right through the characters making them easy to see in a darkened room. Better than expected was the light touch the keys need and that they are very quiet. I hate clacky keyboards.

5 out of 5 eggs Good Value 03/13/2014

This review is from: Seiki 32" Class 1080p 60hz LED TV - SE32FY22

Pros: Multiple inputs, small/simple remote, clear picture, nice appearance, fairly compact. surprisingly well built

Cons: Picture not as sharp as more expensive TVs. Has exactly one bad pixel

Other Thoughts: This one of the lowest price 32" true HDMI (1080p) TVs you can buy. It seems well made, produces an acceptable quality picture and has lots of inputs that are easy to select from the remote. I bought this mainly for gaming but have found that blu-rays look just fine on it as well.

I always worry about the quality of construction for something this low-priced. But, I was surprised at how well made it appears to be.

The picture is not equal to my much more expensive LG. But, for the money it is very acceptable.
