Pros: I have this drive running in my surveillance DVR now for about 15 months and it really is the quality I would expect from Western Digital. Today I exchanged this drive for a 3TB purple drive (WD of course), just to maximize the capacity of my DVR.
Cons: I have never really noticed it but this drive creates a lot of heat when used 24/7 .
Other Thoughts: I know this drive was never meant to be in a DVR but considering the quality of the WD drives, I tried it for about 15 months. Pros: It worked for the first couple of months.
Cons: Whoever refurbished this, should have focused more on quality. After a while the buttons start to jump and one click actually becomes a double or even tripple click. That can have consequences when trying to click away unwanted popups.
Other Thoughts: The price was actually very good and as a backup mouse it still works out. High usage in a work environment could become an issue pretty fast.READ FULL REVIEW
