ARCTIC Freezer 7 Pro Rev. 2, CPU Cooler - Intel & AMD, Multi-Directional Mount, 92mm PWM Fan
  • Owned For: more than 1 year

Pros: Works great when the fan works.

Cons: Fans seem to have high failure rate.

Other Thoughts: A lot of posts make it sound like getting a replacement fan is impossible. I emailed arctic.us@arctic-cooling.com and said that my retailer was gone and I needed a replacement fan and they replied that they would send one and it should arrive in a week or so. Looks like they figured out that there needs to be a way to get their replacement parts if they aren't going to do a normal RMA.

Rosewill RPST-24-A-01 20/24 Pin Power Supply Tester

3 out of 5 eggs Good but flaky 06/13/2008

This review is from: Rosewill RPST-24-A-01 20/24 Pin Power Supply Tester

Pros: Shows if power is working on PSU without installing it.

Cons: As already noted, this unit shows a failure when the now commonly omitted -5v is not present.

Other Thoughts: Good for a cheap tester. There really doesn't appear to be much else worth buying in the price range. Even more expensive ones still have this problem.

EVERCOOL SFF-9 92mm Case Cooling Fan

5 out of 5 eggs Mine's quiet 04/22/2008

This review is from: EVERCOOL SFF-9 92mm Case Cooling Fan

Pros: I got mine in late 2005; I'm wondering from the more recent reviews if the quality of these fans went down. I've never noticed any sound from mine at all (of course I probably have a bit of a loud case, and with two kids I can hardly hear myself think, let alone these little fans).

Cons: With my fan, none at all except the rather odd-looking spider filter.
