Pros: - Matte screen, huge plus in my book. - Crisp - Monitor has a LOT of tweaking options - 3.5mm speaker/headphone out connector on the back will play the audio signal from HDMI connector - Mine had zero dead/stuck/bright pixels - Nice pixel size, standard windows text is easily readable at native resolution without having to resort to DPI scaling tricks, unlike 4K displays - built-in USB 3.0 hub - All cables included: Displayport, dual-link DVI, HDMI, power, USB3, and mini-displayport-to-displayport converter dongle. - comes with bundled VESA mounting plate - Has the ability to do picture-in-picture, or even show two separate inputs side-by-side at the same time at 1280x1440 resolution each - 2 of the Built-in USB3 can be configured for 'super charging', increasing the power provided to charge cellphones/tablets faster. (device can't talk to the PC in that mode) - Nice color representation - Came pre-assembled with stand in the box, rotated to portrait mode. - Not noticing any backlight bleeding - No weird high-pitched noises or anything when using very low or high brightness/contrast settings, unlike some cheaper monitors I've used in the past - physical buttons, easy to navigate OSD

Cons: - Out of the box the whites were eyeball-melting bright, it took quite a bit of tweaking settings to get everything to look just right without causing eyestrain. Of course that's a one-time chore, looks great afterwards. - Price - More expensive than some of the 4K monitors at the same size, although I preferred the 2K resolution myself.

Overall Review: There are some useful programs on the CD: one driver which will autodetect screen rotation (landscape - portrait) and rotate the image in windows accordingly. Also a tool called 'easy setting box' that lives in the windows system tray and allows you to subdivide your screen into multiple configurable zones -- windows can then be dragged and auto-snapped to these zones, so you can easily have between 1 and 6 programs stack in user configurable layouts 2560x1440 works at 60Hz over standard HDMI or DVI cables -- the higher-res 4K monitors require either displayport, or will run @ 30Hz instead of 60Hz over DVI/HDMI Very large, obviously. Screen has three different speed settings, allowing the user to either emphasize accurate color representation or speed up drawing speed to make gaming more fluid. Even at the 'slow' speed setting I'm not seeing any issues with blurring or tearing, (Supposedly at the fastest speeds you may notice some color banding)

Pros: Wireless keyboard, nice look, perfect layout.

Cons: While the looks and form of the keyboard are great, there are two fairly major issues with this keyboard for me. First of all, the keys are angled backwards slightly, even with the feet on the bottom of the keyboard raised. This means that the top edge of each key is slightly lower than the bottom edge of the key. It's seems very minor, but it definitely took some adjusting to. Touch-typing was more difficult at first than on any other keyboard I've used. It forced me to change the angle of my wrists slightly while typing, which causes some cramping in my hands after extended use. Another issue is that the keyboard has a tendency of losing the connection with the transceiver. Especially if it's been idle for a while, it can take ~20 seconds of pounding random keys before it starts responding to anything. It never cuts out while it's actively being typed on, though.

Pros: - Efficient, as far as portable units go. Most 8,000 BTU units have higher amperage / electric cost - Remote Control - Great at cooling down the room. (I Have central air, but our office room typically stays 10-15 degrees warmer than the rest of the house, making it uncomfortable. Running the Portable unit 5-10 minutes will cool it down again - Self-evaporating unit, won't need to empty a water tank if you're just using A/C mode. (Will be necessary in de-humidification mode)

Cons: - Window kit is pretty flimsy, three pieces of thin plastic that can screw together, poorly insulated and will likely leave small gaps to the outside if used. - While its nice to have a remote, note that this unit can ONLY be controlled that way: Other than the power button, there are no controls on the device itself. There is an indentation in the unit housing to store the remote, but if you have small kids that like to run off with any remote control they find that may present a problem. - Fairly noisy (comparable to a loud fan, just white noise, fairly consistent while running)

Overall Review: - Less efficient than a window unit, but that's the case for all portable units - Couldn't use the included window kit because it was not tall enough to fill the gap in my (horizontal sliding) window. Ended up making my own out of wood & insulation tape, which seals much better. - While it does need an exhaust for the hot air to the outside (all A/C units do), the portable unit requires a much smaller opening in the window than a comparable window unit would use. All in all: I like the unit, and would buy again.

Pros: - Largest capacity 2.5" external HDD on the market - USB 3.0 - Bus-powered, no need for external AC power supply - Small, fits easily in a pocket

Cons: USB cable a bit short (1.5ft)

Cons: Be aware that unlike the original wii, this model is NOT backwards compatible with gamecube games -- it can only play actual wii games.

Overall Review: Windows 8 recognized the hardware and found the drivers on its own, without requiring the CD that came with the card. All I needed to do was to go into the Windows sound config, and told it I had 5.1 surround sound speakers connected. Worked perfectly. Great alternative for a dead on-board sound adapter.
