This review is from: GIGABYTE GZ-ZA2 Black ABS / 0.6mm SGCC ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
Pros: This case was packaged well and arrived with no issues. case air flow is good for a low end build. the black interior is a very nice touch even if it doesn't have a window side panel. plenty of room for a build if you are using smaller components. no place to secure wires. the spring loaded drive cover is nice as it keeps the drive noise insulated. doesn't rattle.
Cons: the drive eject button feels a little cheap but does work. there is no cutout in the motherboard tray. the hdd light behind the usb 2 port and not easily seen. the light on the left side of the power button pannel doesn't do anything.
Other Thoughts: overall i was happy with this case. would buy again. overall the little quibbles about this case do not detract from the overall quality of the case. for the price its one of the best cases I've used for budget builds. just don't plan on putting a gaming rig in this one. not enough air flow.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: ASRock FM2A55M-DGS R2.0 FM2 AMD A55 (Hudson D2) Micro ATX AMD Motherboard
Pros: The bios interface is nice. Sound effects are bit much but i guess that's just the modern world. The construction seems solid and it performed very well with an A8-6600k. didn't get a chance to play around with overclocking like i was hoping but performance through this board was right on par. was able to update the bios over internet right in the bios.
Cons: the front bottom screw point is higher than normal micro atx. the case that i bought didn't have that hole and i had to make one for the standoff. not a huge issue and something that i should have caught in the pictures. bought it for the low price but was still rather disappointed that even at this price point that usb 3 wasn't available and sata 3 was also not available on this board. the tweaker utility in windows does not display accurate cpu temp. hardware monitor was displaying the temp in the 70C range and it was saying 32C. little bit of difference and not in a good way. the chip used was also in the approved cpu list. came with fairly outdated bios that needed to be updated before installing os. usb flash didn't work.
Other Thoughts: was not overly impressed with it. Between the useless tweaker utility that can't display correct temps and the outdated bios that the board came with wasn't very impressed. the usb jump drive update didn't work on this board either but it was able to hook directly to the net by itself and update. kinda a nice feature.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Just like all the rest of the corsair power supplies I've ever bought it works perfectly. Voltages stayed right on target loaded and idle. Excellent price. Back wires and all nicely modular. Does not get hot under a good load.
Cons: cables could be a bit longer if your going to try and put this in a larger mid or full tower. Not too many going to use this small of a power supply in a full tower so understandable.
Other Thoughts: I've completely switch to using corsair power supplies. never had a problem with one of them yet. always good quality.READ FULL REVIEW
