G.SKILL Ares Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 240-Pin PC RAM DDR3 2400 (PC3 19200) Desktop Memory Model F3-2400C11D-16GAB
G.SKILL Ares Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 240-Pin PC RAM DDR3 2400 (PC3 19200) Desktop Memory Model F3-2400C11D-16GAB

Pros: Works great. 16GB. Running at 1700mhz @ 9-11-11-28.

Cons: None.

Overall Review: Unfortunately (due to my motherboard, not the RAM), I cannot get this running at the advertised 2400mhz. My motherboard memory multiplier only goes up to 10x, so I dropped it to 6x and raised the base clock until it was unstable. I found my best stable base clock at 170, so i upped the multiplier then from 6x to 10x to get where I'm running at now. I didn't toy around with timings too much, but I figured that with the lower clock speed, I could tighten them a little, so I did, but I'm playing it safe and leaving it where it is for now. I'm running on a budget gigabyte board (read: <$100), so I was happy enough that

Excellent.

PC Power & Cooling Silencer MKIII Series 750 Watt 80+ Gold Semi-Modular Active PFC Industrial Grade ATX PC Power Supply (PPCMK3S750)

Pros: Bought this to replace an old PSU that gave me 5 years of 24/7 runtime. This guy is running flawlessly with the following specs: i5-750 @ 3.4ghz 12gb ram 7950 @ 1100/1400 5 hard drives

Cons: None.

Overall Review: Make sure you pay attention to what cables fit where. I was installing this pretty carelessly because I was computerless for a couple of days and was rushing to get it running and it took me a while to realize that some cables are meant for the bottom ports only and some for the top only.

ARCTIC Accelero Xtreme 7970 VGA Cooler - nVidia & AMD, 3 Quiet 92mm PWM Fans, CrossFire

Pros: Works. Cools much better than the dual-x cooler on my sapphire 7950. Running 925/1200 at 90C load and noisy on the old cooler, running 1100/1425 at 50C load and dead quiet even at 100% fan speed. Could definitely push way past that, but I'm playing it safe for now.

Cons: I can understand why it would take 3-4 hours to install, directions are passable but unclear in some parts.

Overall Review: Took maybe 2 hours to slap onto my 7950, luckily enough, my chip locations were similar enough to the reference card detailed in the instructions, so there wasn't any headache in where to stick the smaller heatsinks. Took the advice of the reviews and used AS-5 on the main cooler and AATA-5G on the small heatsinks, I can't say anything about the compound supplied on the main cooler and for the small heatsinks as I didn't use them, but I can assume that it would be worth shelling out the extra $15-20 for better stuff.
