Pros: Solar recharging works well; nice not to have wires all over the car. Visor clip lets you place it closer to you for times when you need to have an extended call. Otherwise, the windshield-mounted holder works well and keeps it charged.
Cons: Sound quality is not great. Had 2 units and both died after about 18 months. Not inclined to buy again.
Other Thoughts: Looking for a better solar solution...READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: ASRock G41C-GS LGA 775 Intel G41 + ICH7 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard
Pros: Socket 775 for older PCs whose mainboard dies. Fast FSB and DDR 3 support.
Cons: Only 2 DIMM slots per type. Fan noise is intoerable and bios options fail to tame it. Must install the bundled OCTuner utility or SpeedFan to get the CPU fan to quiet down. Sounds like a vacuum cleaner otherwise.
Shipped with BIOS 1.20 and would often fail to retain date/time and bios settings until flashed to bios 1.40. (Battery was not the cause of this problem)
The power saving BIOS settings (1.40) are a JOKE!
Other Thoughts: More trouble than it is worth. You expect to patch Windows endlessly, but the mainboard should be good to go.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Have had one running 24 x 7 since October 2008 with two 750 GB drives- very happy with it. Great speed. Good build quality. Ships with a bracket so you can connect the eSATA cable to a free SATA connection on your mainboard.
Cons: Documentation is poor, but Newegg reviews and Google make up for that. OK, so fan is not silent...
Other Thoughts: This is my 2nd unit. Recognizes two WD 15EVDS drives (1.5 TB each) in Raid 1 through dip switches. Shipped with firmware v 1.1605 (Silicon Image only shows v 1.1576). Get the configuration manager v 5.1.24b for the 57xx chipset to see what is going on inside the enclosure.READ FULL REVIEW
