Antec Gaming Series One Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
  • Owned For: 1 week to 1 month

Pros: I thought I would update my review. This case is pretty good for the price. I paid $32.00 for it. I just wanted to let everyone know that it can in fact hold a R9 280X. I have a Club R9 280X install, which is 268mm long. And is has more room than that. I measured around 11 inches, so I would just keep whatever card you install just under 11inches and you will be fine. I couldn't find anything on this anywhere. The website and Newegg states 266mm maximum on graphics cards length. You can go further than that. Also I have a 120mm fan on the side door as well as a Xigmatek Gaia heat sink with plenty of clearance. I have a EVGA NEX750B installed which is a snug fit. Also it blocks you from installing a fan on the bottom of the case. I hope this helps. Here is my build. It cost me 650.00 total.
Antec One case
8Gb Amd 1600 ram
Mushkin 120Gb SSD
2Tb Seagate 5900rpm hd
EVGA NEX750B psu
Xigmatek Gaia heat sink
Asrock Fatal1ty 990FX Killer mobo
Club R9 280X Royal Queen
Amd 8320 cpu

Cons: None for me yet.

Pros: I got the refurbished model for 32.99. It came in the plastic bag pictured. It appears to be new and never used. The cord has never been uncoiled. It feels awesome. I have never owned a gaming mouse before.

Cons: It doesn't come with box and software, which can be downloaded anyway.

Pros: Looks great in my case. Has some great features for the price. Supports 8 core FX chips. very sturdy with overbuilt connections.

Cons: 3rd PCIE is only 4x while the other 2 are 16x. Not a good board for 3 graphics cards.

Other Thoughts: This is a good board for gaming. Not so much for overclocking. I think overclocking is just a fad though. I like a nice quiet running machine that I dont have to worry about. I got this board with 8gb AMD 1600 ram, FX 8320 and R9 270x. This works just as good as more expensive builds.
