3000 RPM's Of FuRY!
Pros: Awsome "swirl" design with the LED's and glowing not shining. 3 way adjustable. 1. Full on (leave jumper on) 2. Variable (with temp probe attached) 3. Fully manual (with PCI-slot control knob) Moves a ton of air when on full speed. Thermaltake Brand sticker included!
Cons: Really none... On high I couldn't see how someone would say its excessively loud. The fans 120mm, rotating fast enough to decapitate chipmunks, and its throwing A LOT of air.... deal with it!
Overall Review: I put the two I have on a SmartDoc, so when I game, all I have to do is press a button and I've got turbines spooling up to keep my case more than frosty. While gaming AMD Quad core Agena 2.6 (stock) ~46C Asus 4870 1Gb DK (stock) ~46C Asus M3A78-T ~39C Xclio Windtunnel with Rexus fans (ambient) ~21C
Moves a lot of air quietly.... sorta
Pros: 120mm Pretty and EVEN glow Quiet... mostly
Cons: Only recently on startup has the Bearing started whining. After my PC boots entirely, it stops.
Overall Review: Recommend to anyone. So pretty to look at. Bought 6-16-15 Wish it wouldn't be dying so quickly. I always put corsair on a pedestal.
Great Case for the Money. Do Buy
Pros: Fits a H100i in the top no problem (240mm rad and 1 set of fans in pull) with filter 2 120mm fans in front with filter 1 120mm fan in rear Bottom mount Power Supply with filter Plenty of room for single or dual cards. Room for Many HDDs. Front unused Drive Bays are meshed to allow air through. Storage spot on top for phone or whatever may be connected at that time. Side is bulged to help with stuffing wires behind motherboard tray. Easy to clean.
Cons: THIN! You must be mindful as you work with it not to bend or scrape it. Plastic on side is easily scratched and printed on. This panel is the weakest of them all and scary to take off the first few times. Thumb screw threading must not be standard, I tried to put different (easier to grab) thumb screws and they wont thread. Front and top plastic come off too easily. Top filter VERY restrictive. I would have paid a few $ more to have nice rubber grommets to pass the wires through the case.
Overall Review: I'd recommend this to anyone wanting to upgrade from a case that didn't support water cooling or someone building cheap. The LED's in the front fans are a weak glow and this case should come with matching exhaust fan for the rear to illuminate the interior. Or remove them like I did and replace with Corsair to move some molecules.
Great Memory When it worked
Pros: Great memory. Worked well in my board for almost 2 years. Fast! I'll be interested to know what G.Skill will make me do to replace one module.
Cons: One module is bad, so I had to pull 2 of them to keep dual channel effective. My computer was slower with 3 modules in place. I hate going through the hassle of warranty claims.
Overall Review: These Have a lifetime warranty. Hate to give low rating, but its all you can do to get someone's attention. Newegg rocks though! I love them!
Great Case!
Pros: TONS OF SPACE! My huge CPU cooler is off of the side fan by about 1mm, but clearance is clearance. Painted all black inside and out! Tons of wire management options. Grommets for liquid cooling (not for me) or USB3.0 loop-back.
Cons: The ONLY con.... The power button is failing, I cannot turn my computer off the entire way, only sleep. It is a pain to turn on using the button.
Overall Review: Can I get a new power button please?! I'm not tearing my whole system down for this one piece, please. Xclio sent me a new button by itself when it died. 3 year warranty according to in-win's site.
Update # 2
Pros: Plays anything at rediculous rates. Stock settings work nicely. Looks great. FPS barely hurt when recording on Xfire. L4D = 130 FPS, Grid = 120(ish) FPS, COD4 = 104 FPS, COD:WAW = 75FPS, Fallout 3 = 65FPS
Cons: Asus sucks at customer support.... they really do! Drivers out now are actually functioning.
Overall Review: Anyone who might be having a problem with thier brand new card might want to take a breath and wait for the newest drivers to come out. The problems I was having was in no way my hardware, or heat problems... This thing doesnt get to 55C while heavy gaming. The drivers weren't mature enough and I feel that was the main cause to my and everyone elses problem. The last release fixed A LOT of problems with A LOT of titles. If you have this card and get a newer game... Give them time to sort out drivers... thats really all I can suggest. Other than that... as long as this thing doesn't crash I'm extreemly happy. I know I paid top dollar and thats what I expected. The jelling of drivers and hardware just werent there and it seem a race to catch up.... correct me if I'm wrong! Take it easy everyone... good luck to all!
